This is not only an Asian restaurant. You can also slip in for a drink and something from the lavish sweet buffet, as a refreshing break in your shopping or sight-seeing.

Visited Berns couple of times for lunch. Especially liked bento-box: Scandinavian products in the Asian style. Buffet of sweets is also nice, everyone would be able to choose what like most. Price per person is around of 350 SEK (35€). Highly recommend to visit.

My friend and I had the standard set menu. Maybe 8 dishes (?) which contained very different flavours, but all very tastefull. Served with chopsticks but possible to use the hidden westly forks and knives. They had several glasses of wine to choose from. So ashtongily interior with superb chandeliers. What separates this restaurant from a Tripadvisor-5-star is the service,... More

This place is off the hook. Had the bunch buffet ate about a billion oysters and 17 thousand kilograms of sushhimi. Not very romantic because I was stuffing my face the whole time and my missus doesn't like sea food. They also had a really good selection of salads dumplings chicken skewers

Berns is a beautiful building with a cosy and lovely dining room. I have been several times to Berns Asiatiska and been really happy by the food as well as the service. This time, however, we were a little bit disappointed. The starters were really good, different kind of dumplings. And for the main courses the thai meat balls were... More

One of the best places for brunch in Stockholm. The restaurant is inside a classic and gothic building, lightings and deco provide an excellent ambience. There two sections - the main dining area which is provides a cozy and dark litted surrounding, and the smaller section (upon entering the restaurant) which is bright due to the glass windows all around.... Good asian restaurant in a elegant space with beautiful chandeliers and people. The place gets crowded so you can sit at the sushi bar and enjoy the food and atmosphere. It is expensive.

Description
Berns Salonger, a hotel, conference facility and nightclub, are situated in the heart of Stockholm in 19th century splendour. This is also where you'll find Berns Asiatiska, the city's first Chinese restaurant, which opened in 1944, when it was honoured with a visit from the Chinese embassy. Berns Asiatiska still strives to be an international meeting place which introduces new flavours. These days you can enjoy dishes from all the regions of Asia. At weekends an enormous brunch buffet is served and in the afternoons, you can pop in for ?yum cha? (Chinese tea) which includes dumplings and a fantastic desserts buffet. What's more, you can always watch the skilled sushi chefs at work ?live? in the restaurant.
