Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is quite an unusual restaurant made more so by the fact we hadn’t realised that it is aimed at red meat eaters. Fortunately out of our party of seven six were Brasilians who live to eat beef and so they were very satisfied with...sharing 3x sirloin steaks between 4 adults and 2 children. There was plenty for everyone and the accompanying roast potatoes were marvellous. The seventh of us chose the three course tasting menu which included a trout ceviche, a roast chicken leg and pasty and grilled lamb steak, all very tasty and quite enough to eat. We tried 2 of the 3 desserts on offer which were fine too. Our waiter Albert was very pleasant and helpful so it was 10/10 from us.More

An excellent evening with very qualified staff at Djuret. Tested the steak (350g) to go with Roda Reserva . A recommended combination

Delicious food, perfect service and great wine (although much was too expensive for us). Made for a perfect evening that we'd like to experience again.

If you're a fan of great meat, old timey atmosphere, amazing wine and great service - then this is the place for you! The portions are very generous, the courses were well timed and the wine recommendations were spot on. The music fit the aesthetic...perfectly, mainly jazz. We were served by multiple people, who were all amazingly friendly and very professional. We got a tour of the astounding wine cellar after our meal, even though the restaurant was full and the staff quite busy. Best steak ever. Would definitely recommend and visit again on a special occasion, since of course it is a bit on the pricier side. Totally worth it though!More

Given the excellent reviews of this restaurant I was rather disappointed. The welcome we got was very cool when we walked in. No one helped with coats. This restaurant has a large wine collection which is more like a book to go through. The dishes...were very salty even in the butter. I had to drink loads of water. First dish - Carpaccio of scallops was rather bland - mushy with no real flavour. Second dish quail was fine but very small. The last dish was veal and came with a sauce which to me tasted like vinegar and just did not go with the lobster hollandaise. All up we were there for an hour as the dishes came quickly and left. Not a good dining experience for us in Stockholm. Maybe I should have had the steak. This restaurant is in the Michelin guide but to me it did not live up to the standard I expected. I have given sun average although tempted to give two stars.More

I’d return just for the brioche loaves and flavoured butters!!!!! But add one of the best steaks (Galician Rib for 2) with all the trimmings and a mind blowing bottle of wine (they do not have any “cheap/reasonable” wines) the night was great. Dark, moody...hunting lodge vibe works given the menu.More

A really nice restaurant in the heart of “gamla stan”. Even thought we went there a day earlier than our reservation by a mistake they gave us a table thankfully. The atmosphere is so different from any other restaurant. The decoration reminded me of an...old huntsman house (luxury) and it was very suitable for a restaurant expertizing in steak. The food was excellent. The bread was so fresh and delicious and the steak we had was the perfect medium-rare. I really recommend it.More

This is an amazing restaurant with fantastic service and a ridiculous wine list. My wife and I loved it - she had the fallow deer set menu while I had a whole Rubia Gallega rib eye for 2 for just me. The food was delicious,...could not fault it, but of course the wine selection was just amazing. So spoilt for choice with that insane 30,000+ bottle cellar. The interior is so nicely designed, from the more cosy and cramped groundfloor to the much more airy but romantic underground.More

When looking for a restaurant for our wedding anniversary, we decided to try Djuret as we have heard and ready many great reviews of the place, Since moving to Stockholm in 2017 and dining out once a week since then, we have only had a...handful of great meals including Adam & Albin and Punk Royale. We can now happily add Djuret to the list of great restaurants in Stockholm. The setting is fabolous and has an intimate and quirky feel with unexpected and funny decor, dim lightning and ultra comfortable chairs. The winelist was perhaps the most comprehensive we have seen in Sweden and covers everything from french classics to New world wines. Prices start at 590 SEK per bottle, which is OK considering the quality. Foodwise we opted for a five-course tasting menu, which turned out to be flawless. Standout dishes were the carpaccio of scallop and lobster, the dry age beef tartar and the baked arctic char covered in ramson pesto, trout roe and cress. Add to that discreet and yet personal front of house staff, very reasonable prices and you have the perfect recipe for a great culinary experience. Bravo!More

Amazing staff and well thought menu. I am glad I selected their recommended menu instead of selecting a la carte. I strongly recommend the chef suggestion.

A really inviting place that make everyone welcome. I was very impressed with the menu and had the set one (large). The wine paring was really good and they have taken time to get this right. I was not however up to the desert as...I am not a sweet tooth and it was very very sweet. Very nice dinner thank you again.More

Lovely cosy restaurant, proper tableware, fine glasses even for water. Food is excellent. Menu is based primarily on one animal, with the choice of that day's beast being down to luck. When we went is was pig so every dish featured some part of the...pig. At one point, we were each served a small black loaf with what seemed to be a portion of congealed dripping and it tasted heavenly. All dishes were creative. The wine menu is vast. It must run to a hundred pages. We just asked what they recommended that was white, dry and low cost and the bottle they selected was excellent. Not cheap but worth every penny.More

I had a 3-course meal with wine pairings in late August. The staff was attentive and explained just enough, not too much (unless I inquired further) about the chef's creations. This was recommended to me (by a person with high standards) so I already had...high expectations, but they were exceeded nonetheless. I highly recommend Djuret for a memorable meal in Stockholm.More

Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
