A travel through time to this intimate and nice 'viking lair" is a must while in Stockholm. Very friendly atmosphere and staff, delicious food and drinks.

My partner and I have wanted to visit here for some time but due to work schedules we've had trouble coordinating it. However when we did it was so worth it. Maybe it is not the "most authentic" viking eatery out there, it is certainly...More

This restaurant was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Stockholm. The atmosphere is lively and loud, how you would imagine a viking feast to be. They have a live musician play a medieval style instrument and all the staff are in full...More

With all the good reviews the expectations were high. So it was a low that we had to sit at a large table with the table pole between out legs and the gleaming phone of my unknown neighbour next to me. Not very viking age;...More

If you are seeking a nice, quiet romantic place, DON'T show up here! :) This is a great place for people that want to have a fun time! You enter by going down into a cavernous space. You are seated at long tables. There is...More

The environment and the show are amazing. Food not that much, I’d consider food OK. But the overall experience I’d definitelly recommend.

We went here for a dinner and weren’t expecting great things due to it being themed and having mediocre experiences with similar restaurants but we were pleasantly surprised with brilliant atmosphere and incredible food. Being seated together with strangers was initially intimidating but everyone was...More

About as close as you will get to the old Viking ways.... every thing from the cutlery to the pottery pint glasses and the fiddle being played. Highly unique, very lively and social experience. This is one of those places you go with a large...More

The food was fine, nothing special, but the mead and atmosphere was outstanding! We were 'announced' to the room by a husky man in period costume. All staff were appropriately dressed in viking wear and helped us make food choices. It was dark, with candles...More

So pleased that we booked this restaurant before we travelled to Stockholm. It’s set on a small side street and steps down lead you to this fab place. We received a warm welcome from the staff - and customers ! - when our arrival was...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

I don't really know, but you can check in their website. They accept reservations and it's good to make one 'cause the restaurant is usually full.

I didn't see a children's menu, and to be honest with the atmosphere of the bar I am not sure it would be suitable for children, it can get a little rowdy.
