We traipsed the length of Sodermalm on the basis of Drop's reputation. Fair enough to be warned that they were closing in 15 minutes. But no excuse for tepid coffee. No excuse for chilly attitude. Only just mediocre coffee as far as taste went.

Service is great. Coffee is tasty. Much better than its rivals around. Also, it is not overcrowded. You can really enjoy your coffee here, instead of getting exhausted by the heavt noise of an overcrowded place. In short, prefer drop coffee. You won t regret 👍🏻

Walked passed and the shop look good. Friend ordered a hot chocolate and tasted like water mixed with chocolate. I ordered a hot mocha. First, they didn't know what mocha was so I told them. After 1 minute the waitress came to me said the staff didn't want to make mocha for me because he was stuck up. I demanded... More

Since I was last here they've remodelled inside a bit, giving the baristas more space and connecting them to the kitchen area. The place hadn't lost is simple charm though. Great range of beans of course, with very knowledgable baristas and great coffees. I had the Hunkure beans which produced a really nice lightly perfumed coffee, wth a bit of... More

If you love coffee, you have to go this place. Never disappointed. It dosen't matter to order espresso or just drop coffee. Also you can have nice sandwiches as well.

Delicious coffee, neat, modern shop. Limited food on offer but the real focus here is the great coffee (I love finding Australians behind the counter!)

Great espresso coffee. Easily compares to Melbourne coffee. My only feedback comment is that they seem to give a lot of milk for a single shot cafe latte.

I went off coffee for a week and broke my fast with a sensational, creamy, smooth, just-bitter-enough cappuccino from Drop Coffee on Sodermalm. Even after a week my standards were high and Drop did not disappoint. Their green juice and open sandwiches are divine, too. Go here!!

There's no doubt this is a hipster coffee shop, but it fits nicely with Sodermalm. I am impressed how helpful and friendly the staffs were despite the line at the cash register. She actually took the time to explain things listed on the menu and made suggestions based on my taste preference. The interior design is minimal but there are... More

Staff were kind and nice. Coffee is good, but nothing special. Seats out side is nice so recommend to sit out side. ネットで見て行きましたが他にもいいコーヒーショップはいっぱいあるなとゆう感じでした。

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
