This family run restaurant in the old town has a full menu from antipasti to dolce, but the antipasti are their speciality. Great variety, all home made, local specialities from differ t parts of Italy . We decided to only have antipasti, 3-4 each ,...More

Pasta is al dente and starters a fresh with strong flavors and interesting combinations. Nice house wine. Going to a italian I did miss exceptional bread and a good olive oil a side, we had some poor sliced baguettes. A bit pricy for pasta.

A table for one is often not the best, but here they gave me the best table and I felt very welcome. The menu in this Italian is more upscale and they deliver on it. Started with 3 oysters with different sauces on each, followed...More

This is a little slice of Italy in beautiful old city Stockholm. Very friendly and attentive service. Great small plates so you can try many different dishes. Nice Italian wines. If you are looking for an Italian experience in Stockholm, make this your choice!

An absolute gem of a place down to earth. No nonsense menu with a slight twist. The starters were perfectly timed and just enough to tease your appetite, southern italy salami was a rare treat. Flavours were fresh and tasty. We had the veal, beef...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

My husband and I ate at Il Buttero in June 2016 and thoroughly enjoyedour food. In addition to the great food, I had a chardonnay (by the glass) from Abruzzo, Italy--one of the best chardonnays I have ever had from Italy. Would you send me the name and and, possibly, a picture of the bottle? Thanks!
