Lilla Karachi offers very good food for a good price in The Old Town, Stockholm. The staff is very professional at all times and make you feel comfortable wether you come to the restaurant alone or with company.

We had our dinner at this place. It was really nice food and with good atmosphere. Chicken Vindaloo and chicken Masala were really nice. Moreover, its very close to the main attractions. It might be pricy but thats how sweden is ....Quality at high price :)

Great food along with great service makes this Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurant a great surprise in Gamla Stan. Our server was extremely helpful and tailored the food to our taste. Food, I could tell, was freshly prepared. Flavors were very authentic.

Well executed food. Service on the slow side. Had a good long time to watch cheesy Bollywood stuff on the TV. Two mains, two sides, nan, and a bottle of wine came in at C$165.

If you like this kind of food, you are at the right place. Place is not big enough, so not so nice when all tables are occupied. Prices are OK, discounts exists during lunch time. Good if you are around in Old City.

We had a warm welcome to this quiet restaurant in Gamla Stan, I was quite pleased that there wasn't as much choice as there is in your typical UK curry house as I thought the quality would be better, and they didn't disappoint with the main course. The issue I had was with the vegetable samosa, it would have been... More

Was looking forward to a nice Pakistani meal in Stockholm but was disappointed. We ordered a mixed grill but food portion was very small and the food was bland. Was also very poor value for money compared to other meals in Stockholm.

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
