For starters we had a selection of cold meats, olives, dips, prawns, etc and enjoyed each of them. The ingredients used were fresh and that showed. Our main was steak with potato gratin. Mine was blue and my partner's medium, both were cooked perfectly and the gratin was divine. Even thinking about this place has my mouth watering. Kniv a... More

Excellent food and service. The menu is not your ordinary one but the dishes are carefully composed and the combination of the different tastes is amazing. Fantastic restaurant but not recommended for children or picky adults.

Even though we live in Linköping we hadn't been to Kniv å Gaffel since the current owners took it over a few years ago. First impressions were good, the restaurant isn't huge and felt quite cosy. We shared a chef's choice 4 tapas starter, which was ideal for us but if you're very hungry you'd probably want one each. The... More

Came across this restaurant by chance. Good choice of food and very well prepared. A mixture of traditional and new and clearly made with fresh and seasonal ingredients.

We were a group of 20 or so, spread around several tables. Service was efficient and friendly. With every new batch came descriptions, which was fun. Great selection of Swedish beers. Fun dessert.

We were eight person in a group. Five ate the tapas chefs choice. And the others the lamb or chicken. Everything was really good. We had one person who needed special information due to allergies and the staff was super helpful. Nice and cosy as well. Well worth it.

Kniv & Gaffel is by far our favourite place in Linköping. Relaxed atmosphere, nice food and good service. Make sure to make reservatons as they usually get fully booked weekdays as well as weekends. Nice mediterranean inspired food and pleasant staff. Must be recommended.

We enjoyed our dinner in company of 4 people. The sallad was really like in Greece, the warm dish (chicken) was excellent. Not big choice of wine. Very crowdy on Friday night, it was good that we booked a table before.

The menu is a mix of different cultures and that makes things interesting. The interior could be a bit modernized but is ok enough. The service and quality are high. Please do not forget to reserve.
