After 6.5 km walk in beautiful forest it was nice indeed to have something simple and tasty. Coffee was good and if I dare to quess, it tasted like Coffee made on fireplace (pannukahvi).

A nice traditional Finnish cafe. Normal jug of hot black water for coffee which may not suit American or European travelers who are used to more coffee varieties. Good quality wholesome food, with a good variety.

Lunch has excellent value, home-made cooking type, best kept secret in the middle of Espoo Central Park. If you on the area for MTB cycling, Cx skiing, disc golfing, hiking, walking, then this is the place where to have a break.

This place offers a nice environment for four season outdoor training. Summertime good and wide walking, running tracks different length. Winter time cross country skiing. There are couple fire places open for all. You can reserve a sauna if wanted at Pirttimäki. And the Cafe....if you can imagine situation that you have been few hours outside doing staff things and... The prices are very reasonable and the place is cozy. It is great to do some hiking or biking and stop here for soup and always fresh buns (sämpylät). The coffee + munkkirinkilä, fresh dougnuts, are very famous and reasonably priced.

this place is loved by both local Finnish people and foreigners for having a nice barbeque out and having outside activities. there is a well equipped playground and a football field at the site, also a smaller playground and a barbeque facility. bathrooms are free of charge, the coffee shop is open usually until 4pm. you can also have a... Looking for a place to pop in after/during a hike or ski in the Espoo forests - this is the place for big size servings: buns, pies, soup and hot coffee and chocolat.

What better way to finish off a lovely afternoon hike in the forests of Espoo than to come across a little cafe, with nice sun umbrellas and picnic benches overlooking an extremely fun looking children's play area....and to find that the lovely hot mug of tea (Earl Grey no less!) is only 1EURO and the large tasty cinnamon buns are... Description
Off the lakeside road, by the parking/playarea/sauna where walking trails start. Just a tiny cafe with the loveliest lady who served hot tea and scrumtious cinnamon buns for only 1EURO each!! Compared with other cafe prices it was amazing value and when we enquired about how cheap the tea and buns were she said 'I want families to come here - I have children as well, I didn't want it to be Helsinki prices' Plus as she was locking up she presented us with the remaining buns from the cafe (5 of them) and didn't want us to pay for them! She had only been open for 2 weeks. We wish here well....
