Vegan review: Walked past this super eye catching place and had to go in, purely because I loved the decoration so much. I asked if they had vegan options, they do a cinnamon roll. I got one of those plus an Americano to take away....More

Worth checking out bread was good and not badly priced... for Iceland. Sourdough- brown was nice with pumpkin seeds.

I've had Scandanavian Cinnamon buns before in London; they're not even close in taste or texture to these. Here we have the Real McCoy and boy are they worth it! Fluffy, doughy, chewy and lovely! If you're in Reykjavik don't bother having the Continental Brekky...More

The cinnamon buns are absolutely delicious. We were luck enough to have a small Braud over the road from our hotel (Center Midgadur) so could easily pop in and grab some warm. A must stop for anyone in Reykjavik.

I loved the cinnamon buns. They're great when it comes right out of the oven. Their croissants are delicious, too! Must try.

The most incredible pastries I’ve ever had. The cinnamon buns are as big as your face and delicious. Good value for money in an expensive city to buy food. Can’t recommend highly enough!

This place is probably Icelanders favorite. At most Fridays we have sweets at work and this place never fails. They’d cinnamon buns and sourdough breads are a killer. Love this place and recommend.

We went to various different Braud bakeries around Reykjavík, and all of them had the same amazing pastries! A visit to Iceland wouldn’t be complete without a visit here! And, for Iceland, the prices weren’t too bad either.

Probably average for Iceland. The cinnamon rolls are about $5 US. A loaf of the sourdough bread is about $7 US.

Everything I saw in the bakery looked and tasted full of butter. They do have juice and low fat skyr which someone avoiding fat could have.

They open pretty early (i recall the hours not listing a time but rather a word for opening so I assumed it was something like dawn or something). There is plenty of street parking, especially if you park in the church lot... More
