I literally went here for one reason. To try the Sheep's Head and write about it. It was well priced and the service was great. It's one of the last places to try the infamous dish. It's boiled, not fresh, don't expect it to be...More

We always have one meal here on our visits. The last visit we thought the service had dropped, now bank to its polite and helpful self. A couple of young locals with the Icelandic manners made it welcoming and the food is good and cheap.

I had the meat soup (delicious) and my husband had the sheep's head, which is a speciality of this place. It is not for the faint-hearted, but he says it was very tasty.

Had been looking forward to the experience of trying a sheep head. Did so as well and it was very different, the meat was very tender. However a bit bizarre experience so I did not finish it. Recommend it to try if you pass by.
