Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Coffe was good, but cake 😔 was supposed to be warm but was not and obviously not fresh. Price was very expensive and totally not worth it.

We stopped by to try rainbow coffee, and we really enjoyed it. Great choices with surprising twists, loved all of them, but mushroom was my choice while hubby liked charcoal. Extremely nice service from every person we encountered and beautiful view of the marinated so...highly recommend it 😀.More

Stopped here for a beer. The most expensive we had during our visit to town however, also the best views out to the harbour.

GO HERE! We stopped by for a late breakfast and it was delicious. I had the spirulina latte and the smoked salmon toast. The view is spectacular, inside is also so cute.

We enjoyed a good midday view of the harbour from a table near the window on a sunny day. The service was friendly enough and very prompt - maybe a 5-10 minute wait for our meal. The food was fresh and had unique flavours -...we had the smoked lamb sandwich, which was very good.More

First day in Iceland and still getting over the shock of the prices! Had a wander down to the harbour and called in at Rost for lunch. A very warm and friendly place with lovely decor and comfortable seating. Had a smoked lamb open sandwich...with rocket and dill - absolutely to die for. Two sandwiches a beer and (free) water for the equivalent of £54.37More

A nice coffee, expensive compared to others but worth it for the lovely view if you're lucky enough to get a window seat. Only had a coffee but lovely venue and menu looked good, with vegetarian sandwiches

Nice coffee stop. Quite expensive compared to other places with better facilities but the beverages are very nice none the less. Staff were more attentive to the customers on this visit than on previous occasions.

After an afternoon whale watching, this is definitely the place to stop to warm up. The mulled wine is delicious and the sourdough with honey and cinnamon is delicious. Perfectly located on the harbour with fabulous views. It’s warm and cosy like a great big...hugMore

Lovely, cozy bistro on the harbor. Drinks and food were very good. It was so nice to have a meal with a nice view. The grilled sandwiches and soups were delicious, as we're the desserts. Perfect place for a meal, coffee, or drinks.

Smoked lamb sandwich was good, but was an open sandwich not a sandwich and I couldn’t find any cutlery, and the servers did not come across as very approachable. But it tasted great and I enjoyed the view of the harbour as I ate.

I checked this place out prior to my whaling sightseeing trip and for lunch it was busy; obviously a popular place. I returned after 4pm, very hungry and it was much quieter. I enjoyed a fabulous, generous size salmon sandwich. The coffee was excellent, good...flavour , strong and robust without being bitter. Fast friendly service.More
