Cafe Loki is open at 7 am on Sundays which is great because our plane landed at 6 am in Reykjavik. They don’t have a breakfast menu. A small menu of only the most Icelandic of dishes: fresh baked rye bread with mashed fish, picked...More

Great little place, the pancake with skyr was different and delightful whilst the rye bread ice-cream was out of this world. A great little place which was friendly and cosy.

We came here for late lunch at around 3pm and we chose to sit upstairs. We ordered two main course, one portion with Sheep-head-jelly and one portion meat soup with flat bread. We could have a nice view of Hallgrimskirkja.

Nice little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped in for a coffee and also tried the pancake stuffed with skyr. It was delicious. Friendly staff.

Cozy place right in the shadow of Hallgrimskirkja. The Icelandic Meat Soup was wonderful, and the coffee was delicious and just what we needed after a redeye flight into Reykjavik, and it was the perfect place to recuperate and get our first taste of Iceland.

Reykjavik is not the best city for parking. Most of it is street parking, and you'll need to buy a permit at the kiosk. If you're not impaired, walking is usually faster and less frustrating.

Icelandic traditional food Cafe Loki offer Icelandic meat soup, Icelandic sample plates, homemade bread and cakes. Icelandic traditional homemade dishes are our specialty. You can taste fermented shark and dried fish but Icelandic meat soup and our Icelandic plates are most popular among the Rye Ice cream and Skyr cake. Beautiful view over Reykjavik, Hallgrimskirkja church and to mountain Blafjoll. Icelandic food.
