Nice bar just under street level to watch the high street with a pint. Bit of a dive, smelled of cleaning products and the toilets were falling apart, so not high end, but a cool place to have a beer after dinner

Cozy and affordable option right in front of a lot of shops. You can stay here for a your "pit stop".

We´ve been here several times for a drink and we always return. The place is very cozy and warm and we like it a lot. It´s always very quiet but then again, we have only been here during the daytime.
Reyk City is a walking city so it's great to find a place that's warm and you can people watch. Koffin is great for this. My friend and I drank hot beverages, surfed wifi and ate the blackest, yummiest double chocolate cake I've ever eaten....More

Go and have the Viking White Pale Ale....! For non Icelanders it's always shocking to see the prices - but hey, you knew it before you went. Cozy place to rest while strolling through the city or for a beer after dinner.
Go before 19:00 and it makes the price a little more reasonable. 1100 ISK for two beers is as good as you'll get anywhere and this is a cosy and intimate bar right in the centre.
