The food is very good and genuine. Pizza, Pasta and fish are excellent. Prices are very fair too. The restaurant has lovely sea views especially if you sit on the terrace. In Summer they have also some tables by the waters’ edge.

Dreadful service. Was told they would not be speaking English as it was an Italian restaurant. We continued with the little Italian we knew to make an effort but this made no difference. Was told we couldn’t eat outside but then 5 minutes later the...Italian family that turned up was given food to eat at their table. Inflated our prices too but we just paid as didn’t want to argue over it. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!More

Food menu is a big lie. Hot chili mussels entre was bland with zero taste although they were fresh. T bone for two was showing as €40 for 1 kg. There was barely 500 g in it. And it was ordinary. Asked for ash tray...three times. Drinks ordered were incorrect. Absolutely zero care and staff of 2 to handle the full restaurant was just pitiful. Every polite complaint elicited a response of - too busy. It was a recollection of John Cleese in Faulty Towers. DO NOT GO HERE.More

Arrived with friends because I have eaten there some years ago and had a grate meal what a change in a place the manager is a joke, and a bad manners arrogant fool who rocked up...to our table and announced this is an Italian restaurant I am Italian and don’t speak English, we should have taken the hint then but we persisted because we felt sorry for the poor Man what a mistake we went on to be insulted ripped off and Hungary as the food was as bad as his service skills, so if you want to be insulted, Ripped off and stay Hungary this is the place for youMore

We recently visited for my last night in Gozo, my friends had eaten here before several years ago and they were keen to return. Once we were seated a very grumpy Italian man declared agressively that he did not speak English, we thought this may...present a challenge! How right we were...He had difficulty with the drinks order, no fresh orange only flat fanta. The starters were then delivered with all the main course, 2 of my friends had their dinner mixed up. The food was very poor, the service was abysmal, this waiter was incredibly rude and like others have stated, it seemed our business was a hindrance or inconvenience, he is more suited to a back of house role in the kitchen as he clearly has no personality or patience to deal with the public. It really ruined our evening and I would highly recommend not eating in this restaurant. This is by far the very worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant, it really was like a scene from "Fawlty Towers" Mr Grumpy made Basil and Manuel look like seasoned professionals. We paid up and left thoroughly disgusted. I urge you not to waste your money as there are so many good restaurants in Gozo far more worthy of your custom.More

Walked into the restaurant expecting a sea view instead got a very moody middle aged man who clearly was put out due to us interrupting his cigarette break, sat down ordered drinks of which he was even less pleased to give to us and said...cash only. Place was not the cleanest either - avoidMore

So don’t get me wrong the food was amazing the views were stunning and the service was alright but it all went wrong when it came to the bill. First you have to watch out for the woman as she tried to force us to...pay cash and said there was not card and there was an cash point down the road, unlucky we only had a few euros left so we had to go get some but then as we left it said on the door we accept card and as we went back up stairs there was someone paying with card. Luckily they forgot to add a 30 euro seafood mix and a 20 euro bottle of wine. Do overall I would highly not recommend going here as a touristMore

Disappointed, and embarrassed by their service. Do not ever go to this restaurant if you ever want to have a peaceful evening. The service was horrible, no one was welcoming, other people’s food looked disgusting and hearing them complain did not give me the courage...to eat mine. We waited there for more then an hour and we didn’t even have any starters. I am disappointed that I was on my first day of my honeymoon our night was ruined. They lacked staff and they did not speak any english. All of the food started going back to the kitchen. What a night.More

I agree with virtually every other review about this restaurant. It is dreadful and I would never go there again! First of all the owner claimed not to speak English making ordering quite difficult. Then just before we had finished our £200 meal, he produced...an i pad displaying 'Card machine broken down', so one of our party had to go to an ATM to get cash. Finally, when we left, he was nowhere to be seen. It wasn't even that the quality of food compensated, because it was not good and seemed to be cooked from frozen ingredients. I'd recommend giving this restaurant a wide berth - there are plenty of other good ones on Gozo.More

On, Saturday, 10 September, my partner and I, stopped at this Italian Restaurant for lunch. Upon our entrance, the waiter took us upstairs, where we found ourselves in a lovely aired floor, with balconies, with the enchanting view of Marsalforn Bay. We settled in one...of the balconies. Though it was a very hot Summer Day, we still were in the shade, and there was a lovely fresh cool breeze ❤ Starters, we took Frittate (Mashed Potatoes, Scamorsa Cheese and Arancini), and Parmigiana. Both were delicious, especially the Parmigiana so freshly made. Mains we took 2 Pizzas, Pizza L'Oro Di Napoli and Pizza Capriciosa, both were made with fresh ingredients, tasted good and very filling. Staff were extremely courteous and nice to us, we really enjoyed dining here. Keep up the lovely work guys! TESTED 😊More

Upon request to pay by card the owner suddenly loses ability to converse in English and his politeness. Since owner is not paying taxes (gives no check) he does not offer any discount for it.

Do not go here! Evening meal for 2 families, sat waiting to order drinks for over 20min. Asked for the music to be turned down as speaker was right above our table- it was turned up again shortly after. The Spotify playlist was hardly what...you’d expect in a family restaurant… Drinks were flat, no ice in the glasses We had to clear the plates from our starters, whilst the staff were setting other tables in the background. Main courses- pasta undercooked, veal in Marsala ‘sauce’ was oily and tasted floury. When we asked for the bill to be reduced, the owner became very aggressive and angry; he also suddenly didn’t understand any English which he had when we came in? He claimed that there had been no complaints in 10 years, which doesn’t seem to be true. The couple waiting to pay after us were agreeing with everything we were saying. It’s sad as this is a beautiful location, ruined by poor staff and arrogant owner.More
