Dolci Peccati tops joint first place as best Sicilian bar in Malta. Great ice cream, wonderful cannoli. Place is newly restored, more classy and wide.

Dolci Peccati is a perfect example of how a simple espresso and sweets can be served in a friendly and casual atmosphere making the experience a relaxed and enjoyable one. Dolci Peccati is run by Italians and you can always trust an Italian to deliver a perfect coffee and also some delicious sweets. The ice creams are also to die... More

Stopped here a couple of times for coffee in the evenings. Cafe latte was lovely & reasonably priced (£1.60 equivalent), staff were amiable & helpful. Comfortable seating with coffee tables cakes & pastries looked great. Would recommend. Sjx

This place has two parts, the Dolci Peccati cafe/bar and the Gelateria next door. We were in the area for only 4 days but came back 3 times (after trying ice cream from lots of other gelaterias). The cafe itself has a modern design, it is slightly noisy but gives off a cosy atmosphere as the tables are close to... More

12 euros for 2 spritz is too much. I understand they brought us something small to bite as you can see on the picture but none has asked for. Plus the Italian girl at the counter look at us like she was superior and was doing us a favour. I don't recommend this place

I asked for 4 ricotta cannoli which were too sweet. Also expensive euro2.50 when in Sicily you pay 1.80. Also I asked for 3 croissants one ricotta one pistachio and another one crema. After waiting for a long time I was served by a very rude lady who was also cashier with three croissants with different fillings. I will not... More

So we ordered a "snickers milkshake". Confirmed with the waitress twice. When it came out it was completely white - seemed a bit weird. Long story short, ended up paying €5 for plain frothed milk 👍 On the other hand, the cakes are nice. Better value to get the smaller ones.

We were seated outside and there was a strong smell of exhaust. Service was slow. Water was not served with our espresso. Waiters chatted with friends (having a coffee) and ignored other tables waiting to order. Waiters also smoked outside the coffee shop. Staff was unfriendly. Coffee is reasonably priced but sweets are expensive (but good).

Everything I have ever ordered from here has always been delicious. It is ideal for coffee, drinks, a snack, desserts or a meal.
