We had 2 very enjoyable lunches here with good service. We were only in Slimeafor a week and several days on trips but we so enjoyed our first meal here of Pizza we went back. I tried a savory crepe and my sister had Maltese bread. Try the ice cream too - yummy. Reasonable prices and friendly, helpful staff.

We called in because we liked the look of the place and were not disappointed. Great food and a cracking atmosphere, well done.

We visited this place during the first day of our stay in Malta. The food wasn't anything special, but we felt it was rather expensive since we only ordered 2 salads, one portion of squid and two juices and for that we paid 46euro, which was too much (for the same money, I could have proper dinner in London). The... More

Excellent location, right on the bay or marina. Good menu range. The food quality is average, however the portions are good. I found it relatively overpriced, by 20-40% compared to other pizzeria's. Service a little slow.

We visited this cafe for breakfast in our last day in Malta, and it was the best breakfast we had in Malta, and One of the best I had in long time. The food was delicious, and, as usual in Malta, well portioned. The service was very good as well. Well priced.

Excellent pizza served by friendly staff. Quick service even though the restaurant was busy. Topped off by great coffee.

Came back a few times in a short trip, really nice service, nicest atmosphere of any of the other cafes and restaurants along the same strip. Really tasty food that was delivered quickly and happy to accommodate.

I liked very much the list with the starters and tapas. I tried the small jobs with lamb meat and tomato brochettes. Thumbs up for pizza del Mar - rich and very delicious, too big though, I could not manage :) The atmosphere is good, staff very friendly. It very close to the hotel and the ferries, good location. This busy cafe is a great place to stop by for a snack. Always busy with people. May be more care should be given to quality of food. Pizza and desserts are good though. Service is ok.

We had a good breakfast in this restaurant several times during our holiday. Some portions were too strong (greasy) but I can recommend bagels, croissants and smoothies.

Description
Along Sliema's fashionable Strand, in the heart of Malta's top shopping area, Cuba is where to stop and chill. With a spacious seating inside or out, Cuba serves light snacks from 9:00am with a bistro menu - tasty salads, pasta and grills - kicking in from noon. Our wood burning Neapolitan oven bakes delicious Pizza in the evenings. Apart from brewing excellent coffee, Cuba offers a great selection of wines, beers and cocktails. A second Cuba is also open in Spinola Bay, St. Julian's, Malta's top location. Our new Cuba offers all of the above plus a great selection of fresh fish daily. Late evening drinks are served on the terrace overlooking magical Spinola bay. Can't think of a better place to chill out. Not only because we aim to brew the best coffee in Malta and brew only the finest roasted 100% Arabica coffee beans, but also because hard working people just need to chill out and have fun. Cuba means magical music and dance, cigar smoking, women and Che Guevara, rum and revolution. The very mention of this Caribbean island conjures up images of 1950s Cadillacs, colonial architecture, Ernest Hemingway sipping his daiquiri in a quiet corner of La Floridita and beautiful bodies swaying sensually to the sound of mambo and salsa. Cuba means easy living. Life moves slow there and people still have time to sing and play and dance in the streets. In our world where time waits for no one, service must be fast and efficient for an ever more demanding customer who expects a wide range of tasty food and drink as norm. But we all still need to have fun, to let go and feel good. At Cuba we seek to combine the physical and practical needs of our customers with their even greater need to relax and enjoy life to the full. We also cook great food and bake exquisite pizza using only the finest ingredients. Join our revolution and help us make life great again. We all just want to have fun.
