Have never received such bad service in a restaurant was practically rushed out of there. Card machine was basically thrown at me the minute our plates had left the table. Didn’t even ask for the bill or the card machine. Got asked so many times...was I done when I was just resting and taking a break from eating. Maybe it was because I was young but I still expected to be respected. Was debating standing my ground once I paid but kept getting looks from all the staff. Weren’t even in there an hour and felt forced to leave.More

I had rabbit and my wife had salmon. The food was very good quality. The waiting staff were friendly, although we had to promise that we would finish within an hour if arriving in order to get a table. It is a popular restaurant.

Firstly, this is not a seafront restaurant but is set back in a side alley off Triq Bisazza. Delightful inside, very well patronised, superb service and most importantly excellent food serving both local delicacies and some more international style dishes. The bragioli was top notch...and the veal escalopes delicious (comes with fresh vegetables and potato wedges). A complimentary mouth watering appetizer was offered and the selection of Maltese desserts platter is divine. Prices are really competitive and dining here is the real deal in all respects. To be sure of a table, it is a must reserve in advance basis and at 48 hours in advance of our date, only 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm slots were available. Not to dine here would be a rather big mistake! So, go for it!More

Local restaurant so we tried it out. Service was very slow. See other customers being given wrong food more than once. Food was standard but not great. I lamb and it came with two small bits of potato. Friend had rabbit that was chewy.

We came across this gem by accident, having headed away from the main front. From the start, it had a nice feel, almost ,"homely". We were lucky enough to get a table despite not booking (I would recommend booking). As well as thexmain menu there...were a selection of "specials". We had starters andxmains along with complementary bread and olive tapenade. The mains ranged from fresh pasta, slow cooked lamb, trio of fish and beef dish...all were amazing. Staff were attentive and helpful, apparently most had worked in the restaurant for many years. Good selection of wine and a full bar. Many of the other diners appeared to be local rather than tourists...always a good sign. Overall bill was 141 euro..Great value (see attached bill). Def worth a visit we loved it!More

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff are all really friendly. We turned up with no reservation and were lucky to get a table outside. Would definitely recommend to book in advance, as they seem to be fully booked most of the time. The food is...incredible and so delicious. It really tastes like proper home made food, all made fresh with free bread and the local dip to start. We searched a lot of traditional Maltese restaurants and this was definitely the best !More

After reading up on where to go, we headed out in the pouring rain, chancing our luck at getting a table for midweek evening meal. Upon entering the restaurant, we discovered lots of diners clearly enjoying their food. We were lucky, after a 15 minute...wait, we were offered a table. Food was delicious & plentiful. I opted for a dish called ‘Dads famous Baglioni’ whilst OH had Rabbit, both dishes served with seasonal vegetables, Atmosphere was lovely, all staff were very welcoming. We enjoyed it so much, we’ve re-booked for this coming weekend 🎉More

We found this restaurant on Google and it was just what we were looking for. Our hearts sank when we saw how busy it was but they managed to squeeze us in fortunately. The service was very good and efficient. Within no time we had...drinks and complimentary bread with a garlic dip. The main courses arrived, slow cooked lamb and a pasta cheese dish (sorry can’t remember their Maltese names). Wow! 2 superb dishes resulting in 2 empty plates and 2 very happy customers 😀 highly recommended, we will go back again! Thank you.More

A lovely little traditional Maltese Restaurant. Hidden down a little side alley but well worth discovering. Recommend that you book as gets full We shared a mixed platter to start off with which was delicious with local bread. I had a traditional Bragoili meat dish...for my main which was very filling served with fresh vegetables. My friend had Rabbit baked in red wine both traditional Maltese dishes. Well worth a visit if you want to try the local food.More
