Evening meal for our party of four made more enjoyable by the fact many of the tourist's stayed in the more public area's which for me was a bonus, good food in an environment which looks a little dated but excellent service at a good price too.

We noticed there was a good distance between tables therefore we weren't going to be bothered by people smoking situated near us. We selected the Maltese platter to share and it was extremely generous and delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Wandering around Valletta we came across Luciano's, we sat outside - a beautiful setting. We had a delicious meal, I had octopus in wine and garlic and my husband had the Maltese stew both very tasty.

One evening in Valletta while out walking, rain began falling. I spotted Luciano Restaurant at the corner of Merchant and St. John's streets. That location is but a few steps from St. John's Cathedral and another block from Republic Street, Valletta's main avenue - which nicely is closed to vehicles. Luciano is cozy and more reminiscent of a warm pub... More

I was with my boyfriend and we both had a bad experience: my hot chocolate was just brown water and his wine was like vinegar! Never again

Good food, good service and a great value for money ! However service might be a bit slow when the restaurant is busy.

Went by to have lunch, stayed waiting 3-4minutes at the entrance waiters passing by and not taking notice. Made a short tour in to see if that would make them wake up but still no. Walked out again and would never ever go back to a place like this where customers do not matter.

With temperatures of 34 deg plus this was a most welcome stop with excellent cups of tea. Lunch was first rate, but the sandwiches disappointing in that the used soft white bread. However, the rest of the menu looked first rate.

Visited Valletta today and as the weather started to change we called in to Luciano restaurant for lunch. We are the local Cisk beer, garlic bread and salmon and meat feast pizzas. Omg, they were delicious. The staff made you feel welcome from the moment you entered and if you wanted you could watch current affairs on a large TV... More
