This time we just had a rest here for a beer and cocktail. Last time we had cake, coffee and milkshake. Both times its been great. Have to say this time we need to thank the hostess as if not for her we would never had been served, the waiters never looked our way for one second but the weather... More

The staff here were immediately very attentive, asking if we required the outdoor heaters on and if we were comfortable. The food is excellent, very large potions and god value for money. The puddings are very impressive and also delicious!

We stopped her for coffee, and then went for a wander round before returning for lunch. The menu was good, tasty and the local beer (Cisk) was cold and refreshingly inexpensive. Lunch with tree round of drinks was €20 per head with tip.

A friend and I arrived a few days early before starting our Malta Heritage Tour with Dr. Robert Schoch, a thought leader on ancient civilizations. We took the little train ride (on the side of the Co-Cathedral) around Valletta and once finished we spotted San Giovanni for lunch. What a find it was! We were craving a salad and they... More

We had breakfast here one day. It's cheap enough, but the sausage they served was inedible - full of grissle. The rest was ok, but nothing special

Popped in here with friends on a sunny Wednesday after being informed about the fresh fish. Exceptional specials dishes and food, really friendly staff, nice atmosphere, honest prices. In the end amazing desserts and coffee. Highly recommended🍰☕️

We don't usually eat at touristic town square locations but we were kind of forced to this time and we were pleasantly surprised. We took bruschetta and fried calamari and both were very nice - maybe not quite the standard expected of a specialized fish restaurant but certainly acceptable in the town center. We will come again while passing by..

Great location in the heart of Valletta. So handy for St John's Co Cathedral as well as all of the rest of the town. Nice tables outside but protected from the weather under clear parasol roofing to let the sun through. Good service brilliant food and realistic prices considering the location.
