I went in and asked if they had a table for myself. The woman behind the bar, already presumed I was only having coffee and just said they only serve lunch and not accept coffee orders. I was surprised and I find it very rude. I wanted to eat and she, judging me already that I was only going to... More

We enjoyed our lunch, but it wasn't too special. The Spaghetti aglio e olio were trenched in oil, which I don't expect from an Italian chef. Service was ok, but not overly interested in the guets. Thus: ok for a lunch, but don't expect too much.

Sicilia bar and restaurant is in a beautiful location within the city of Valletta. It has genuine Italian food with some great pasta dishes. It has a very relaxed atmosphere making it ideal to visit for lunch or dinner wither with the family or to relax after a visit to Valletta.

We noticed this restaurant earlier in the week and unfortunately we had already eaten in a bar up the hill. On seeing the great plates of food being carried across the square we decided there and then to come for lunch another day. Now that we have tried the pasta we will return for dinner. The menu is compact but... More

Far from the crowded streets in Valletta, we heard about "Sicilia" in a guidebook and was more than a surprise! To start (just because we were not expecting such a great location): the views! Come on: A terrace overlooking Grand Harbour is just what you want while resting your legs of climbing Valletta up and down. And then the great... More

Good food and reasonably priced, served on a pleasant terrace overlooking the Grand Harbour. Mixed clientele of locals, regulars and tourists. Helpful and pleasant staff, who coped well with some 'fussy' customers during our visit. The terrace is next to the Bridge Bar, where outdoor jazz provides a nice accompaniment to the food on Friday evenings. Our recent visit was... More

Tony's serves good food at a reasonable price. There is a nice view over the Grand Harbour. The best is that it is quiet compared to other street side cafes.

Given its location, we were cautious that this might be a tourist trap but I'm glad we took the plunge! Two of us had mussels which were are fresh as they were delicious, we also had two pasta dishes which were just outstanding. Especially appreciated them not balking as one of us orded an appetizer portion as her lunch. Service... More

I've been using Sicillia Bar for over 20 years and not once has it ever disappointed. I've both lived and holidayed in Malta and everyone I take falls in love with the food and the view

Staff is, well, abrupt and eccentric. Pleasant one second, then rude, then sarcastic then pleasant. Mixing Maltese, Sicilian and English it's unique experience. Had a simple tomato spaghetti. It was very good, simple and genuine. However expensive at 9 Euro. Drinks reasonably priced however. All in all, an ok place. Just be ready.
