I arrange to make my own ftira by email and I absolutely enjoyed the experience. I arrived at the agreed time, I was expected and was treated really well by all staff. I enjoyed making the bread and hearing the history or the restaurant, and...I was really pleased with the final ftira produced. It was a fun way to experience lunch.More

Menu The Artisan Baker is an original artisan bakery also a love traditional bakery and restaurant. The menu is full of lovely genuine traditional Maltese dishes. We chose the Rabbit and decided to skip having a starter on this occasion. The main course was very...generous in size and came with a dish of delicious potatoes to accompany the Rabbit. We were also given plenty of wonderful crusty bread from the bakery. Prices were very reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful.More

Nenu’s was fantastic. We were a large group that showed up at the end of lunch and they were incredibly accommodating. The food was amazing (try the Ta’ Nenu ftajjar) and the staff could not have been more lovely. Special thanks to Jeremy for showing...us around their incredible, historic restaurant. What a cool family business.More

Nenu the Artisan Baker in Valletta is truly a hidden treasure for those seeking authentic Maltese cuisine. This quaint restaurant, nestled in a back street, surprises with a warm and welcoming ambiance. It shines with its selection of excellent bread and traditional dishes, reflecting the...culinary wisdom of the family behind it. The vegetarian options are commendable, though an expansion of these would be welcomed. Additional chicken choices would be good too for those who don’t eat red meat or sea food etc. The service was friendly and details on nut-free options would enhance the experience for those with allergies for reassurance. The overall value, generous portions, and delightful flavors make it highly recommendable.More

Very lovely location with amazing food. The quality was very high and the price matches perfectly. People who works there has been very welcoming with us. I do really recommend the Spaghetti with Octopus, a big portion is definitely enough for 2 people. We also...got the soup of the day, with fish, very nice too!More

We love Nenu and went twice during our stay in Valleta. Comprehensive menu, generous portions and tasty food. The staff were polite and helpful. We were so full and happy after our meals! Slowed cooked belly pork, ftira, pan fried rabbit and blustered octopus were...delicious. Our favourite restaurant in Valleta!More

Oh so good. Rabbit was amazing. I think it was €18. Make sure you save some bread for mopping up the gravy. My wife had the blistered octopus. It was delicious and very tender. Both were decent sized portions. This was worth walking the extra...10 minutes away from the main drag. Horse was also on the menu. Not my thing though!. Would recommend making a reservation. We went at 8:30 pm on a Monday night and had to come back at 9. Good excuse to go a Ross the stretch for a drink while waiting.More

Everything was delicious! Outstanding food, atmosphere, service. Had hoped to eat here again before we left but it didn't work out. Our favorite dish from our meal was the rabbit livers. They were incredible and the gravy/sauce they were in was spiced to perfection.

Well what a fabulous introduction to Malta and Maltese food. Great service, helpful staff. Everything we had was good, highly recommend the snails, lovely spice sauce with great bread. And if you fancy a sparkling wine the Maltese one is good.

Friendly waiters and good foods. Our first night in Valletta was spent well at this restaurant. We had some leftovers- and the waitress asked us if we wanted to bring it home. We saw that the same happened at the other tables. Nice to see...a restaurant fight food wasting. All waiters were very observant, so it is easy to get their attention. We will be back before leaving Valletta Sunday.More

Wonderful food. I recommend the Platt tipiku Malti, a wonderful selection of Maltese meze, and the swordfish salad. The wait staff are very attentive and friendly. Great prices on the local wine.

Total tourist trap. We first ordered some starters - total rip-off! I did not expect to pay €8.30 for a very small cheese-let (gbejna) and another €8 for two pieces of small bread thrown a plate. Totally unreasonable prices for the portions and quality of...food. As a main, I had the ravioli while my partner had the chicken. As for my ravioli - I could immediately tell these were store bought & not fresh at all. Completely different to what was advertised. Not worth the €15 paid for a main course portion. The service was sub-par. None of the waiters were Maltese - quite ironic for a supposedly Maltese restaurant. Moreover, the servers were not attentive at all and often seemed like they wanted to get things over & done with. The Maltese coffee was, nevertheless, amazing. However, I would not recommend a visit to Ta’ Nenu. It is not what it used to be. It’s a shame to see a once great restaurant become so commercialised to satisfy it’s bottom line.More

Highly overrated. To much swace on the food, everything was like a stew. The rabbit was not so great, not so soft, not so tasty(i am a rabbit eater). The octopus has a tomato sos like The pasta. It was soft but vegetables were allover...The place. Starter rabbit liver same not tasty, celary sos to intense. I would not come hereMore
