A maltese friend told me that this was a good place to come for a fun noisy lunch and be "surrounded by lawyers and business men". It certainly had that demographic. its a few steps down off a side street near archaeology museum so very...More

We ate here in 2016, and not only was the food fantastic but the welcome and service could not have been better. We returned in 2019 and were glad we had pre booked; people were turned away as the restaurant was full. Now, this is...More

This felt like the most authentic , local experience of our trip . We loved it and whilst it was a little chaotic , it was warm and lovely ! Food was exceptional and the service was a delight . Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

As a maltese local who enjoys eating out, I can undoubtedly say that Da Pippo has both the best service (all management is Maltese), and the tastiest and best pasta around. This might sound inflated, but rest assured, I have had my fair share of...More

Stumbled across this Trattoria and managed to get a table even though it was already heading towards 2.00pm. What an experience! We were treated like royalty with a glass of Prosecco whilst we waited for a table. There is no written menu - just go...More

Great Food and staff but could be noisy and a bit on the expensive side. However a nice experience. Very popular so better make reservations in advance.

Located somewhat appropriately a few blocks from Republic Street, this lunchtime-only eatery was featured in several local guidebooks so I decided to stop by on a Thursday without a reservation. Luckily the owner seated me by the counter in a small table that had to...More

A lovely place, full with local experience. Food is excellent, wine choice perfect. Waiters are funny and have excellent recommendations. When in Valletta do like the locals: have a great lunch at Da Pippo. Can't wait to go again :-))))

We were strongly recommended to try Da Pippo by some local friends and managed to get a lunch booking for the last day of our holiday. By that time we had had some very good meals and thought that Da Pippo would be the highlight...More

We paid just under €65 for two of us including anti pasta, wine and dessert. There was no menu so I couldn’t say what the overall price range is. I think the average without wine is around €30 per person.
