Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came with a good spirit for new year s eve. New owners in place. They served first super cheap antipasti, with chicken balls that were barely cooked. Then an ok risotto and ravioli with Lidl pesto. Then comes salmon, main dish, not fresh at all....Sent it back. Was replaced by a mince pork rolle dish that was almost raw. So not only it was disgusting but also dangerous.A place to avoidMore

Located on a small, quiet square overlooking the harbour north of Valletta and the Manoel Island, this place is a real 'find' in Valletta. Superb, authentic Puglian cuisine and very friendly service - such a refreshing change from all the pizza/pasta tourist traps on the...main streets in town!More

Hadn’t been here before but very glad I got taken by some Italian friends who told me that the food was fantastic!........they weren’t wrong. We had a meal made up mostly of antipasti, each one more divine than the other. Consisted mainly of fish and...veg. Very tasty! Excellent pasta with prawn sauce..divine! Too full after so didn’t have dessert. It’s ideal in the summer as there is lots of outdoor seating, less inside. Pity coz the food is excellent! Owner is from Taranto, very nice and friendly and a great chef!More

We stop just to grab a quick casual dinner and opted for the assortment of the day. The food was good and genuine and even the service.

We stumbled across this restaurant today for a late lunch. The friendly waitress suggested the set menu and a few adjustments for a non meat eater. Fabulous 2 course meal with soft drinks and coffee for 12.5 euro per head. Food was delicious, first course...was pasta - cooked to perfection followed by meat and salad. We would highly recommend it.More

Stopped over for a beer and calamari plate as a bite. We were served very courtiously a plater of fresh seafood, cooked to perfection. This and two pints came to thirthy euro. We were given some complementary prown salad and few slices of french bread...which was a nice surprise.More

Highly recommendable. Relatively pricy but worth it! Visited with family on Mother's day and ate excellent tagliata fish spaghetti with seafood and the best tiramisu we ever tasted. Sicilian wine and various antipasti were also excellent. Serving waiters were very polite and ready to accommodate...our wishes as fast as possible. Inside is rather small so better book so as not to be disappointed, but if the weather is good ( unfortunately not on the day we visited) the restaurant offers many tables outside in the sun with a beautiful view if the grand harbour. Very pleasant and an experience to remember.More

Small and tucked away but first class food and service. Not to be missed and if you go once, you will go again if you can. A wonderful experience and great fun on Mother's Day. The platter of tastings of the day is a great...way to start a superb meal or to have as a meal.More

We discovered this small restaurant in the afternoon for a drink. the service was so sympathic that we return 4 times in one week. The dinner was great with linguini/lobster really super. The desert tiramisu is the best we ever eated (came back 3 times...just for tiramisu) they have also beautifull wines from Malta and Italy. For us the best place in Malta on a nice terrace ,quiet and sunny The service team is really fantastic from the kitchen to the service at table. Michaela and John from BrusselsMore

We stopped for coffee and a snack and had the wonderful appetizer parmigiana - absolutely flavourful. Coffee was great too. Staff wonderful and dishes were described to us in English by the chef Fabio. We'd go back again if we were staying longer!
