They cannot speak English and as a result the food served is not what I tried to order even by pointing to pictures.

I've only visited the Dolphin Restaurant once but really enjoyed the experience. It's local food, not fine dining, but very enjoyable nevertheless. Don't expect silver service but do expect local tucker, well prepared, plenty of it, and very friendly service. This is local Turkish-Cypriot food...More

Fantastic Turkish food. Complimentary mere was a lovely touch. So cheap and yummy. The Doner and chicken Doner was very tasty.

We decided to call in to the Dolphin restaurant one evening during our holiday. Although the surroundings are quite plain and there was no one else in there, we were won over by the quality of food and friendly service we experienced. The freshly made...More

This place looks like a transport cafe from outside, but the food and the service and experience are all amazing. The family dedicate their whole evening to keeping you amazed by wonderful flavours of Turkey. Don't be put off by the look of the outside,...More

We wandered into this restaurant really for the free WiFi and a drink, but could not find a review for the place as it is listed under Kyrenia rather than Alsancak. The smell of the food altered our minds and we thought we should have...More

It took me a long while to find TA reviews for the Dolphin and then discovered it was not listed under Alsancak. It certainly is in Alsancak, in fact almost in the centre of the village, next to the car park. We ordered our drinks...More

We decided to give the Dolphin a go after reading reviews and completely agree! The bread is to die for and comes with a couple of mezes and is a meal in itself. The kebabs and main meals are large and good value and the...More

This little place has a very huge menu with freshly cooked food every day. Large posters display what you can eat and many extras are included in the basic price. This restaurant is worthy of a review, in fact one was made a few weeks ago in the local english speaking weekly Cyprus Today. The food is so fresh that one time I went I asked for liver but there was none in stock so the owner when a few doors down to the butcher and bought some where it was then cooked fresh and proved very delicious. This restaurant is proving popular with holidaymakers because it represents good value for money and caters for all tastes. Submitted for your consideration.
