I was so pleased to know Chris Blue Beach had reopened after their customary and well earned break. Then I looked at the new menu. They clearly want to encourage people to eat a full meal at breakfast time. No more just toast and jam, no more just bacon and eggs or just sausages and eggs. It’s full English breakfast or a selection of egg dishes. Great if you eat eggs but as I am allergic it’s a problem. Little alternative. Memo to self - eat breakfast elsewhere.
Prices have risen too. E.g. A bottle of wine which is available at under 6 euros in the local supermarket is 18 euros. A huge mark up, much greater than even the posh restaurants in the vicinity. It will be interesting to see if people will continue to dine here even given the lovely sea views. It will also be interesting to see if staff wait in future till people have finished to clear dishes rather than interrupting conversations.

Excellent seafood (I had a full plate of grilled squid) was unfortunately coped with a very slow service. I asked half liter of white wine in order to accompain the main dishes and I had it when I was finishing my meal. The view to the beach made a nice atmosphere despite the noise of music and crowds

We came for lunch at 11:30ish and all empty tables had reserved signs on but it wasnt too busy.
They gave us a table for 4 but the service was extremely slow and quite poor.
We both had the 'dirty porky' which was tasty and a good lunch, although slightly pricy for a pulled pork sandwich and chips (fogot to take a pic but looked good) .
Here you pay for sitting by the cobbled beach which isnt the best but is long and a nice view out.
It is a nice place to come though, if you want a slow meal and have no other plans

The view from the restaurant is spectacular, however service is slow and they always and I mean always mess up the order. Fresh orange juice was watered down and we waited forever to place our order. If this was not on the beach front it would be empty.

We were a group of 7 going for breakfast on a Sunday morning. From the word go it was obvious that the staff didn’t know their a** from their elbows! The service was incredibly slow and none of the staff looked like they wanted to be there! Once we eventually got to order drinks they didn’t get it right, we asked for fresh orange and got carton concentrate, I told them the error and they said they would go and get the correct one; this never arrived despite asking several time and they even had the cheek to charge us for it! The 3 adult breakfasts arrived first barely warm, followed by the wrong order of pancakes; the employee ran off too quick to even tell them, 15 minutes later the children’s waffles arrived by which point we had finished.
Every time we went to get someone’s attention they avoided all eye contact.
I can only describe the service here as horrendous, the food & drinks are way over priced. The only thing going for it is the scenery!

I have tried really hard to give this place another chance after a series of forgettable dining experiences. Today, however, was awful.
The location is superb. The place is set out like a trendy beach club restaurant but that’s where any semblance to a quality place ends.
I know they get busy but at my time of visiting they had approximately two thirds of tables unoccupied yet it took 25 minutes before anyone appeared to even acknowledge my existence. I ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast. The coffee, when it arrived was good. The breakfast wasn’t.
Firstly the cutlery, brought with the meal, was encrusted with dried food. It took a while to get replacements. The meal itself was very poor using the cheapest of ingredients (they charge top prices however). They seem to have a lot of staff but they appear to work in packs so it can be a long time before one gets close enough to speak to.
A massive disappointment. After giving them multiple opportunities to be what I’d hoped they could be I will not bother to try again.

Over the years when we have been in Cyprus we used to visit this restaurant on numerous occasions as the food was outstanding and very good quality, along with excellent service.
Unfortunately we went there once this time, which was so disappointing. The menu had changed and the chef had also changed.
The food is now really poor, over priced, reduced / poor menu and the service is very poor as well. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone now. A couple of years ago I would have advised anyone to go here but not now!
Was once one of the best restaurants you could go too.

i visited this place last week, i had a salad and some fish platters with my family, i gotta say that although the food wasn't that great i just couldn't be rude with the waiter because he was so friendly and gentle from the moment we entered the restaurant. I don't know if the food didn't satisfy me because it was Sunday(a busy day for every restaurant) and it was probably made on rush but i personally didn't enjoy it as much as i expected. Well what can i say, if it wasn't that waiter named Alex there i would definitely complain about my food. Special thanks to the awesome waiter for keeping me and my family satisfied there with his quick and gentle service! if he ever read this!

Very Disappointing experience.
We visited this restaurant for many times over the last 10 years, but unfortunately this restaurant is getting worse and worse.
We are so disappointed. Very dirty cutlery, terribly dirty glasses, the fish platter was disgusting, the fish was not
fresh - smelled very bad. price:"45"eu.
The service was very slow. Served the main course first and after 25 minutes the salad and appetizers.
Friendly staff but very confused. Poor management.

I don't know what restaurant some of the reviewers in this column have been to but the place we had breakfast at last Saturday was at least as good as it has always been, the menu is the same and both the food and service was even better than usual. I really couldn't fault the full English I had or the scrambled eggs with halloumi and bacon that my friend had and which was adapted from the usual menu for her particular dietary needs. I love a fry up and I'm picky too and that breakfast was as I have had anywhere in the world. The highlights were perfectly cooked eggs, a proper good quality English sausage and really delicious hash browns! Friendly, efficient service and reasonable prices for the prime beach location.... if I had to find one criticism it would be to toast the bread a little more and maybe use better quality bread to match all the other ingredients. We will definitely be back asap!

We have lived in Cyprus for many years (18) and have visited Chris Blue Beach many, many times over the years, but after last week's experience we will not be rushing back.
My friend and I meet up regularly for breakfast, so decided to drive out to Currium. Food prices had gone up again, but it was our weekly treat. How disappointed we were. The English breakfast was Luke warm, very dry, over cooked and looked lost on the plate. At 9 euro it was one of the most expensive breakfasts we have endured. The staff were friendly, but the service was very slow, they were not very busy when we arrived. So that is not an excuse.

Honestly the best experience. Its hard to find a better restaurant in Limassol region, the prices are amazing, huge variety of fish, that is hard to find in other places, and just the environment is magical. I agree that Sundays are very busy, but like everywhere else. We were with the family and friends, I had a seafood platter, and were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish and seafood. And the salads are just superb, full of flavors and so fresh! Kids had burgers and kebabs, its not usual for them to lick the plates, but honestly they just loved it. It was most relaxing experience in the best restaurant! Highly recommend!!!!

Mumsie, wifey, dragon in law & myself visited here after a visit to Kourion.
The food is hot and plentiful and Uber tasty !!
We had Cypriot sandwiches and they were delicious!!
Our only negative would be the person who brought the food up who was as miserable as sin and looked like he really didn’t want to be here !
Yea it’s a bit more expensive than a local “kiosk” or cafe but the quantity and quantity make up for it

The view is really amazing, especially if you sit on the left side of the restaurant. Service is also excellent. Food is overpriced for the quality and portions. Basic and not fresh or particularly tasty, but mostly edible. French fries were not really edible as they were burnt and overcooked. Kids meals are very overpriced and not good quality computer to other restaurants in or around Limassol with a similar setting.

Had a "pleasure" to have a dinner at the place. Had a mixed grill platter. Shame that place with such a beautiful view don't care about food quality and service. On the top of disappointment of the food no servers asked any questions about our dining experience. Being a manager for a long time in a good places around the world marking the place as terrible, will not come back and suggest all my friends to do not think to come over.
