It is a must to visit when you are in Paphos! Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! You get to choose the "meze" you want and the quantity! Trust me and you will not regret the visit!

Visited the taverna upon local advise that it does a good local mezza. It was a little hard to find, but worth the trip. The food was traditional and the way you ordered was really different and lovely! Would definitely go again.

Ta Perix is a lovely tavern. The fireplace inside makes it very cosy and the food is obviously very very good! You pick your own food (you create your own meze, basically) on a form. But whatever you pick, you won't be disappointed. It's an original concept!

If you are a visitor in Paphos or just leaving in here, I must say that a visit to this fabulous authentic tavern is a must. Always a positive friendly welcome on the door with an excellent service and food. On the menu you will find a wide variety of meat, and vegetarian dishes as well. Most important is that... More

Recommend by a local Cypriot lady, took a taxi from the centre €10 euros. Absolutely amazing food, wine and atmosphere! Brilliant staff. You get a piece of paper and tick how many portions you want of the food. The veg was really tasty, the meat gorgeous. Defiantly try the spicy sausage! Will definitely be back next summer!

If you read the Cyprus Mail, as I do when in Cyprus, and online, the restaurant revues sometimes throw out real nuggets of gold, and this restaurant is one of them. Definitely one for the locals, it is out of town in what was the old Turkish quarter, the street names are still Turkish. When you enter, a sheet of... More

Only discovered this Taverna about 6 weeks ago and were so pleased we did, been back twice since then, just love it. They only serve meze but it's beautiful. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Very popular with locals, which is always good. There is an indoor seating area but also a lovely garden area for summer dining. After you... More

The food here is amazing, a lot of it is grilled and very very tasty! You can choose your own ''mezze''. The owner will actually tell you if you picked too much, instead of just running off with the money. Very friendly staff!

I went with my family and friends we were 9 persons we had a table in the garden. The setting was worm and simple. The waiter helped me to chose in order to have the right quantity. I ordered many different plates. All of the dishes we ordered were so good fresh and tasty....I enjoyed the salads, zucchini, meat, grilled... More

This place is just another local tavern. It is nothing special and the staff is not very friendly and polite.
