I have been in Bakaliko many times since I first discovered it in June 2016. It is the best Greek restaurant that serves fresh, home-made food. It is mostly vegeterian. The waitresses are family members except the busy-season. They are very friendly and hospitable. Everytime...More

Oh, soo delicious! Eat there! It s alovely cosy place, very pretty but not too chic. Next to the wonderful market at Lendplatz, you will find a great variety of dishes from the Levant (eastern mediterranean). Some known, some new to me, all of them...More

If you think you can't have authentic and super tasty Greek food outside Greece, then you are wrong! Simple, well-cooked dishes and excellent vegan options throughout the week! Also, worth chating Greek gastronomy with Evi, in case such subjects interest you!

After reading the great review on here we decided to come here for lunch. To be honest we were disappointed from the start. The menu is very small, not much choice and its mainly vegetarian. I ordered some fried cheese, tasted good with the honey...More

Bakaliko offers not just Greek but freshly cooked food from the Levante made with really good ingredients. Decor and terrace beautiful. Also with a deli selling lovely organic produce from small producers. Amazingly good value and super for kids.

First, I have to say, the team at bakaliko is awesome, very friendly and alway ready to advise and guide the customer. Then the food is really authentic and tasty. The place itself has a very distinct feel, contrasting with its Austrian surroundings. It's like...More

when sitting in the restaurant you actually feel as if you're not in Graz anymore - the atmosphere and food simply let you fade away! prices are moderate and it's definately worth one or more visits.

I have tried the restaurant several times, not just once. The food never disappointed me!!! Creative recipes, super fresh ingredients, and a great place to do deli-shopping after lunch. They always try new recipes (and off course repeat sometimes an old success), and this is...More

The term "Bakaliko" derived from the turkish language and later used in the greek language means a small store, with products especially edible ones. In a "Bakaliko" one can find a few tables in which someone can taste its specialities which are cooked solely by the owner and his family. On these grounds BAKAλIKO was established in Graz. A small kitchen basically equipped, a few employees, products from small producers, pure ingredients without preservatives and named origin. There are no linen tablecloths and velvet sofas, waiters with stylish attire and decorative plates with flowers in bloom. The menu doesn't remind one of the enormous menus which one can find in restaurants, it follows the Mediterrean culture of "Meze”. Apart of this no one leaves BAKAλIKO hungry and one has the opportunity to taste original, homemade recipes with cheeses from goat milk, fresh yogurt from Central Greece, thyme honey from Crete, extra virgin olive oil from Lesvos and Fleur de Sel from Messologi.
