Incredible place: they have tables inside and outside on maybe one acre. The food court provides all kinds of snacks you want to have your beer with and the beer itself is incredibly cheap!

Fun beer garden. Casual atmosphere. Would recommend for those who love beer, great food and delicious home made desserts.
Come for the beer, stay for the food! Great place to meet friends and have a wonderful local beer drawn from wood barrels. The crowd is a mix of locals, tourists and ex-pats, it is super friendly place to relax in the shaded garden after...your day in Salzburg. It is a 10-15 minute walk from central Salzburg, but well worth the effort.More
Super beer garden and such a flashback to Munich’s beer garden. The place is huge with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is free if you drink here , the food looked good, will go again to try it.
We went there for 2 nights out of our 3 nights stay because this place is absolutely amazing! A real gem in Salzburg for many reasons: 1. It is very reasonably priced. Get wings for 2 euro and spare ribs for 13 (with potato and...all) or half chicken for around 11. Best thing - 1 pint for 3.60 or 1 stein for 7.2. And there is so much food variety its like a food court where you can order from any store. 2. The beer is to die for an absolutely one of the best I have ever had. I had 3 steins on my 2nd trip and it was just so good! You have to try it to believe it 3. The place is spectacular with many different traditonal halls and a wonderful garden place, which makes dining under the stars an absolute experience You can get there with bus no. 4 or just walk about 15mins from the main Alstat (depending on where you are) but its not too far from the cruise place/bridge with locks. This place is absolutely amazing. You have to visit at least once!More
We went for a drink and to experience the beer garden. The entrance from town is very unassuming and you need to Be inside to realize how extensive the structure is. The ordering and beer fillings process is unique. There’s are a wide variety of...food vendors as well but the visit is all about the beer. The beer garden seats over one thousand and there are countless beer mugs spread throughout. It was a unique experience and a highlight of our trip to Salzburg. Not to be missed!More
Traditional brew house with a wide selection of local food. Very busy although we did go on a Saturday evening. Queue for a stein either 1l or 0.5. Then take to be filled. Sit inside or out wherever you can find a seat. This place...is huge! We also tried the pork schnitzel and pork belly. Great food, beef and atmosphere!More
This place give you a true beer house experience! Both indoor and outdoor seating, music, beers and various selections of food items!
We visited here the other day. It was a really great place to stop on a trip to Salzburg. We thought it had a great atmosphere - full of equal locals to tourists with a great set-up and great beer! We didn’t have any of...the food based on the time we went but it looked very nice with lots of options. Would certainly recommend for any visitors! Take cash as it’s cash only!More
This was an experience! Great atmosphere but one long queue for drinks. Good choice was good and traditional. Cash only like most places.
Amazing environment. This was our first Beergarden and we loved the experience. The beer was delicious, and so was all the food stalls upstairs. Do not skip the potato chips or the crispy pork. Absolutely excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone who visits. Makes...me want to live here.More
Beer was ok for the price and we love being outside. The food was horrible, trust me I’m not a picky person.
Great beer hall and outside area offering straightforward beer for 3.60 euros for 0.5l. Self-service beer (get receipt, get your own mug then take to bar to get filled up) and get yourself food upstairs with different options available.
Great visit under the chestnut trees. Dinner was fun and authentic. Great visit in a traditional large beer garden. Don’t miss it!
We found this place on a recommendation from a friend who studied in Austria. Our guide had never heard of it, so we felt extra special checking it out. The interior is really neat as a former monastery. I get the feeling that while this...is a touristy place, you might catch locals here as well. Watch the flow of traffic with the beer in the biergarden, it was different from what we are used to in the states. You give them your mug and they pour it. You can clean it out in the basins.More
