We were staying at the Alphotel Innsbruck and needed a quick meal after a long day out skiing and sightseeing. After a quick visit to TripAdvisor this seemed like a good choice close to the hotel. Be aware, this place gets busy. We gave them a quick call beforehand; they said they could fit us in if we came before... More

Lovely wooden panelled dining room in small hotel. Food and wines were excellent. Service attentive and charming by dirndl-clad servers.

This restorant is a comfortable tyrolean style stuben)) Old tradition of this restorant is a brewery. Local beer is a very tasty and some sweet. Who loves strong alcohol drinks - try Schnaps from this beer)). Menu offer many dishes of wild animals.

Firstly, they brew their own beer. Yummmm This is a Tirol restaurant using local fresh ingredients. My dinner was venison with a scrumptious gravy, beets n pumpkin mix, and potato "croquettes". Another order on our table was pumpkin ravioli with fresh tomato Ragu. Came with a great salad. We didn't get dessert. Too stuffed. The ones that went by looked... More

Restaurant Bierwirt offers a great selection of Tyrolean dishes in a lovely decorated interior. I also want to mention the fantastic service the restaurant provides. While eating my main course the waitress noted that I had run out of sauce and immediately offered to provide some extra sauce free of charge. I am sure you will find some cheaper Tyrolean... More

The idea was to have a traditional Tyrolean dinner with my husband and his parents, when staying in Innsbruck on the 6th of June 2015. First impression was good, cozy woody environment, but a bit busy overall as it is part of a hotel. We had a reservation and our table was at the back of the place, isolated and... More

Just visited this restaurant after a day skiing, food was great, setting was traditional and elegant and our waiter Andy gave us a service to remember with his jokes and friendly attitude. Will be visiting soon again!

The Bierwirt is located in the outskirts of Innsbruck. A hotel and restaurant dating back some 4 centuries, with several large eating rooms on the groundfloor each with its own style but all in the Tirolean tradition. Very friendly, excellent service, good value for money and convenient since it offers its own car park just opposite, in a location characterised... More

Description
As is typical of a Tyrolean inn, the chef here serves only the very best from Tyrol and the rest of Austria.

Variety and regional products are a priority for us. The ingredients largely come from the surrounding area - whether Tyrolean dumplings or Viennese schnitzel. This ensures that the quality of the vegetables, meat and fish is of the appropriate standard.

The restaurant serves whatever is in season. This means fresh fish and asparagus in spring with wild garlic and other spring vegetables. Summer is all about light cuisine. Summer salads and fresh fruit can be found on the menu. When autumn sets in outside and the leaves start to change colour, the menu features wild game dishes and pumpkin. And in winter, a hearty roast is a must.

The restaurant in Innsbruck also offers a cosy ambience. Whether in the Tyrolean Zirbenstube (stone pine lounge), the new lounge with its glass roof or the Bierstube lounge - there is something for everyone here.
