I've given 5 stars here as this restaurant is capable of some really stunning dishes & on a previous visit our entire meal was faultless. This time we found the roast duck to be overdone & lacking in wow but other courses including a delicious amuse bouche were excellent again. The menu is a la carte or a 4 to... More

I ate there just the once on a recent stay and was very impressed, the service was impeccable with the maitre'd being particularly attentive and helpful. The meal was served at a leisurely pace which was just right for me. Others have commented on the size of the portions and yes they did appear small but at the end of... More

We went for a dessert, 2 adults, 1 six years ald child. We took a sorbet selection and something else( not really worth mentioning) The bill came. There was an extra 14,40 euros Gedeck, which is the couvert that we never had. Moreover, the Gedeck was added for the child too! Really? This is the way a restaurant is making... More

Excellent food although wasn't cheap. The food beautifully prepared excellent service. Portion size sensible for a five course tasting menu. I suspect this may be on the small size for those used to usual tyrollean fare. Excellent wines by the glass. Worth it for a special occasion.

We were in Kitzbuehel for the ski-ing and decided to go for a special meal mid-week and the Neuwirt did not disappoint. We had the Tasting menu (minus the suckling pig for me) and everything was exceptional. For a Michelin starred restaurant they got everything perfect as far as we were concerned. I particularly loved the lamb main course. The... More

Our family of six including 4 children had the Christmas Eve set menu. The restaurant gives the unmistakeable impression of having everything just right. Decor, table settings, service was excellent. Even though we were dressed way less formal than local guests (wearing black suites with tie, and evening dresses), the staff was friendly and pleasant. The Austrian Pinot Noir (Malad)... More

If you're a bit worried about dining in a Michelin starred reatuarant beacsue it might be a bit stuffy - don't be. The food is great, but the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Plus you don't have to mortgage the house - the classic wiener schnitzel is less than £20 - on the other hand you can push the... More

We were staying at the Schwarzer Adler, the hotel next door (and actually they are adjoined internally). We wanted to have a simple dinner and stay in - so we went downstairs from our amazing room at the Schwarzer Adler and asked if we could have dinner in the hotel. The hotel provides a meal in the evening for the... More
