Authentic Mexican atmosphere and menu. Crunchy interior with very friendly and caring service. Happy hour until 8pm, service might take a bit longer during soccer games.

Unfortunately, the decent food was far overshadowed by the horrible service in this restaurant. I've been here twice, the first time it was relatively busy and it took nearly two hours (no exaggeration) to get our food. I assumed it was just because it was a busy Saturday evening, so I went with some friends to try it again. The... More

We were a large group of colleagues but I was impressed by the service. We had to wait a little long for the drinks but the food came pretty quickly for all of us. The mole was delicious, more than enough and warm. Perfect quick dinner for us.

Normally, I don't write reviews (especially bad ones) of restaurants, as they put a lot of efforts in the food. However, this MEXICAN restaurant is worth a MISS. I went to this restaurant after my friends recommendation and as I like spicy food, and as Mexican food has a reputation of being one of the spicy ones, I was disappointed.... More

the place is usually packed on weekends so booking a table is probably a good idea. Getting your orders through if the place is full might take a while but the drinks are pretty good and the staff friendly (they also speak several languages).

Wow, this was an awful restaurant. The food was nothing like mexican food, the staff were slow and grumpy, and my other half ended up being sick all night. I'd avoid it like the plague.

The cocktail list is extensive and prices seem fair. Food is OK, though the portions are a little mean. The service is atrocious - drinks not arriving until the course they were ordered with was nearly finished, and an absurdly long wait between asking to pay and being allowed to, and generally surly and inept throughout our meal.

Went there a Tuesday night, the place was crowded and the waiters seemed to be a bit in over their heads. The food was good, try the guacamole, it was awesome.

I personally am not a fun of Mexican food ... probably never had a good one:) But this restaurant, compared to other, even Maredo in Vienna, is quite good. The interior is great. It is located near subway station "Taborstraße", has a free wifi ... One thing, which amazes me in Viennese restaurants - to get to a non-smoking area one... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
