Located right in the very heart of Vienna, behind St. Stephan's Cathedral, Haas & Haas offers a great variety of speciality teas and other special products like jams, chocolates, tea equipments, etc. The tearoom next to shop offers the possibility to taste these products. A lovely inner-courtyard is available.

I had visitors from London and they wanted to go to a Teahouse as they are fond of tea. We had only tea and some cakes as time was pressing on. They loked the place very much so they visited it every day whilst staying in Vienna. We afterwards went to their shop which is ideal for buying special teas... More

It's easy to miss, tucked away in the corner, but make sure you find it. My husband and I enjoyed the most sensational chicken soup we've ever eaten! The service is friendly, the ambience is comfortable and the food is unmissable! Enjoy!

I've been to the Haas and Haas tea shop, but this trip I discovered this tea room and it is one of the most beautiful places to have any kind of sustenance - just tea, afternoon tea, breakfast, lunch, dinner.... There is an inside section and an outside one, and the outside section has vines growing over your head and... More

When I was there it was past lunch time but not tea time yet to try the special tea menu that looks so gorgeous from the description. Therefore, I opted for a cup of tea (they have a nice selection of black, green and oloong teas) and a piece of Stephan cake. The tea was nice, though a little bit... More

This was recommended to us by our hotel and we weren't disappointed! Situated right next to St. Stephen's cathedral, it's a lovely place to sit for Sunday brunch. They offer many different types of breakfast from a classic Viennese Coffee breakfast to an English breakfast, there's something for everyone. We decided to try the vegetarian breakfast and a scramble. The... More

Perfect for a Sunday brunch, they do eggs every which way so you can start your tour of the Stephansdom well fortified. Fast service and they fitted us into a busy time without bookings - although I would recommend it. Seems to be a favourite with the locals.

Breakfast Menu is exciting and varied! We loved our Viennese breakfast- tiny kitchen in the same room as diners- you know everything is fresh and clean which is great. Front if house service a little slow- but we gather that's just vienna!! Also, English menu available!

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
