Dined here twice recently and on each occasion had a very pleasant evening and memorable food.......just like every other time we have dined here. Service was attentive, prompt and very good. Food is traditional and well cooked and presented.

Charming and cozy. Nice selection of Austrian wines. Well-prepared food. Not just Wienerschnitzel. Recommended.

This was an excellent meal, the service was very good - possibly a little clinical/ There is a wide choice of cuisine with steaks a speciality, that will be either Black Angus or Hereford sourced from Argentina or Australia and are superb but top end of the spectrum price wise.

We were seated and served in no time at all. Authentic Vienna food, house beer and wine spritz. Well done ... 👍

We ate here on Saturday on the recommendation of our hotel. The tables are small and upstairs temperatures get a bit warm compared with downstairs. There was only one waiter serving the upstairs tables and the poor man was 'rushed off his feet'. As a result we frequently had to go in search of our wine or wait long periods... More

This is our third time visiting here, we feel lucky to have found it years ago and we go back for my partner's birthday meal whenever we're in Vienna. Great Viennese menu with super service. Not to be missed!

The menu is not huge and there seem to be potatoes everywhere. The steak was very juicy, the side potatoes rather boring. All in all the quality and price ratio is OK. Credit cards accepted

i was looking something to eat in the area of St.Stefan. and i found a small little 'old looking' restaurant. the food was extremly tasty (schnitzel, gulas and beef filet), the local beer was good enough, the sweets was tremendous and the critics of another app were lying about the quality of this shop. hopefully i chose it and my... Popped in for lunch (and a warm up) by chance. I drank a divine prosecco, set lunch menu pasta and my partner had the sausages, both superb. Menu is very game heavy, I don't eat game so it was limiting for me, but my pasta was the best I've ever eaten, really excellent. Service was super, prices fair, ambience traditional,... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
