Whilst we didn't eat there, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Highly recommend this wine bar as a great place to try both local and foreign wines - even some great sauvignon blancs from New Zealand! Tracy (owns the bar with her fiancé Robert) is an awesome conversationalist. Speaks great English - not surprising as, though she's been in Austria for... More

Perfect for a relaxed evening. A small, cosy interior with a good selection of wines at a range of values; and beautifully cooked food. Will return again!

Here you have so much it's difficult to decide, it's good the nice, well informed staff are there to help you. I decided to take the " Tour de France" one of the amusingly named wine tastings that is offered every week. And to round of the evening the owner whipped up a great "homemade" pasta dish for us with... More

This is my all time favorite wine bar in Vienna with amazing wines at ok prices. They also make great anti pasti but my real favorite is their home made pasta with tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. I can recommend this to anyone looking for a chilled out evening with nice wine and good home cooked meal

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
