Visited on a busy Thursday evening. We tried the Schweizerhaus first but they were packed, here at least they show you to a table rather than leaving you to fend for yourself, so they have that advantage. Was not disappointed with the food. They serve traditional Austrian pork knuckle, which was good. Also quite a few veggie options, this was a surprise because it is a traditional Austrian gasthaus. Had veggie sausages and sauerkraut. Was good. Service was super quick, little chaotic, waiter a little angry and they forgot to bring the soup.

Nice place (we sat on the terrace outside). We ordered the knuckle (pretty to look at but tasteless), the Viennese (quite good) and a prezel (be careful, it comes stuffed with knuckle. Neither fu nor fa) to share. Be careful: they brought us some fries that we didn't order (we thought they came with the Viennese) with two sauces and they charged us for it. My opinion is that the price is excessive. Good service but at the end they ask you for a tip.

The food was good, but the staff tried to fool us. We had a bill of 55 euros and I tipped up to 57 euro and the waiter paid me back 25 euros when handed 100 euro, and just left. I asked to give me back the right difference and told me the tip in Vienna is 10%. Quite rude.

We were in the Prater for a family celebration with around 20 adults + children and reserved the bouncy castle for lunch because of the children. This was the first disappointment, especially since the use of the bouncy castle adventure world would have cost 5 euros per child, which we therefore decided not to use. We only found the information about this later on the website after a conscious search, as it was discreetly hidden in the FAQs.
All in all, the bouncy castle can be described as a pure mass processing zone. This means that one waiter is responsible for the orders and others then bring food and drink. This ends with the first child being served their food (pasta with butter) before the last guest has even received a drink. In general, the food was served quickly, but you can tell that there is a large kitchen behind it that has already pre-cooked everything. The food is basically not bad, but for that price I would rather look for a good restaurant with individually prepared dishes.
The beer selection is varied but simply bad in terms of taste, although we tried many different types. The wheat beer is sour, the mixed beer tastes watery and the rather unknown Fohrenburger is also not convincing.
Conclusion: seen it once, not recommended.

December last year: Charming, helpful, competent staff, excellent food.
Yesterday: First you have to wait 10 minutes before you are asked what you want. Portions have shrunk compared to last year, not just for adults, but also for children. The food was put on the table first and only after you asked for salt/pepper, napkins and cutlery! Dumplings with egg were quite oily and therefore also ledschert, as the Viennese say!
I could have done better in terms of taste, even though I don't know anything about cooking.
Prices: A green salad with pumpkin seed oil €7.70? I don't think that's OK! The guests... half tourists and the other loud proles.
The waiters: Unmotivated and incompetent. They reach across food to serve or clear it away. Not acceptable!!! The staff seemed as if they had been trained a few days before and not very carefully.
What happened this year?
If the other reviews are to be believed, this is an overall situation and not an isolated case.
Too bad. I'll eat somewhere else now.

You always like to visit this organic restaurant! Fast service and a varied menu including vegetarian dishes. Also the varied meat dishes ( all organic ) taste wonderful and are generously sized. Organic meat just tastes much better! Because you like to pay a slightly higher price! Drinks, even the beer taste awesome! And to charge only €3.80 for 1 liter of soda water (from high spring water) is extremely fair and gratifying. Many restaurants should take this as an example!! Would definitely come back!

This place looked very much like a nearby restaurant where we’d had a delicious meal the night before.
Service was slow and very indifferent. The waiter didn’t seem to have much either energy or conversation.
My husband ordered The cordon Bleau and I had the most disappointing meal Ive ever had. It was the remains of park knuckle, bacon and fried (in the last week or so) potato’s.
Not only was it lukewarm, it was also tasteless.
The starter came after the main course and that too was about as numb as it could possible be. Some sort of ‘pretzel’ filled with pork knuckle.
It was such a drab meal.
I really can’t give it any more than one star.

This resturant was selected as the venue for a big dinner for about 40 of us, seated across 4 large booth like tables. Drinks and food orders were taken promptly and given the size of our group food came out pretty quickly. I found my chicken skewers to be on the small portion size, however some of thge other dishes ordered by our group swung thge other way - NB even the small pork knuckles are huge. The atrmosphere was loud and fun, nit just our group but the entire place was loud and bustling. Had we more time, I think my wife and I would have returned for another meal

The atmosphere at this restaurant is very warm, and the service is incredibly efficient. The waiters are super nice—special thanks to Marc, who is amazing. As soon as you place your order, the meal is already on the table. The setting feels especially cozy in the evening, with all the lights creating a ceiling-like effect outside—it’s almost surreal.
The vegetables are particularly good—I highly recommend the tomato salad, potato salad, and baked vegetables. Even if you’re not planning on having lunch or dinner, it’s definitely worth stopping by just for a beer.
Despite the service being included in Austria, the machine will make it mandatory to leave a tip. The guideline is 8% if you’re not happy, 10% if it was good, and 15% if it was excellent. So, keep in mind that everything will cost a bit more depending on your experience.
On a different note, there is a shop affiliated with the restaurant right next to the exit. I stopped by to buy a bottle of water to go, but unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with the woman at the counter on Thursday, August 15th. I said hello, but she just looked at me without responding. I repeated my greeting, but still received no reply—she simply stared at me. When I asked for a bottle of water, she silently opened the fridge and placed it on the counter. I informed her I would pay by credit card, and she handed me the terminal without a word. After completing the transaction, I asked if the payment went through, but she didn’t respond. I said goodbye and wished her a nice day, but she didn’t even look at me—she just turned her back and walked away. This was the first time something like this has ever happened to me.
Overall, the restaurant experience was excellent, but the interaction at the shop left a negative impression. I would still recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting the area, but be aware of the shop next door.

One of the few places in the area open at this time of year and thankfully we found it. It was a quiet Sunday night so we had the best of all worlds. I’ve read quite a few reviews where visitors to Vienna have criticised service levels and the manners of staff. I get it too, we have encountered some pretty bolshy people but thankfully take place bucked that trend. We were looked after by Boban who went out of his way to recommend dishes, carve the Stelze
and point us to other venues. Good was terrific - big portions and very tasty

As a family of six, eating out is never cheap. That's why we always look for the best possible quality. That's why we visited the Luftburg on our short vacation. We made a reservation in advance and were taken straight to the family area where the children were allowed to be loud. The food was great! According to the children, it was the best spaghetti they had ever eaten out. The meat was super juicy and the drinks were very good too. The salad was very seasonal. And the best thing for us is that you don't have to worry about where the ingredients come from or that I'm only putting the best into my body because everything is certified organic.
We need more restaurants like this!!! Keep up the good work!

We were there for lunch today. Got a chicken schnitzel, which I couldn't cut in parts! Hard and dried out on the edges, the breading was firmly attached to the meat. It was probably a frozen schnitzel, which was also suggested by the shape.
The waiter took it away without hesitation and brought me a replacement, which was OK.
My girlfriend's soup wasn't "real" either...
Otherwise, there are some assistants working in the service at the moment who unfortunately don't make you feel comfortable either: unfriendly, unmotivated and untrained.....
I'm very disappointed and won't be coming back for a long time

Finally an organic restaurant!!! You can reach the organic restaurant from Praterstern via the beautiful avenue. Fast service, not over-salted schnitzel, knuckle of pork in portion sizes, vegetarian dishes, outdoor seating with automatic roofing if necessary. Prices are OK for organic. Recommended for anyone who values organic and knows what that means. The interior is new and modern. The only disadvantage is that there is no organic Budweiser, which we are happy to do without so as not to eat tortured meat.

WARNING: Only for people who enjoy being ripped off (small knuckle 32.80, a length of spare ribs 26.90, etc.), who enjoy really bad food (burnt knuckle pretzel, boring and lukewarm fritter soup, indefinable and tasteless baked cauliflower, etc.), who appreciate completely charmless service and who are happy to pay extra for every child's amusement in an explicitly children's restaurant (bouncy castle €5, swings €1).
