We had lunch there with my family and the place is very cozy, and of course as one might guess very Italian as well. The staff is all-Italian. The food is great, their pizza is delicious as well as their spaghetti bolognese. Service is extremely fast and friendly. Prices are great.

Simple, old fashion but good quality Italian an restaurant. Pasta, meat and fish options prepared the Italian way and served with fresh salads and a friendly service. The cava is also an advantage. Certainly the best Italian restaurant I visited in Vienna

Came here on a spur of the moment decision as we had decided we didn't want to go out into Stephansplatz that night and instead chose this place which was a very easy walk from our hotel. Staff were really friendly and explained to us they were booked but we could have a table if we were going to be... More

If you are looking for one of the traditional Italian Restaurants in Vienna then you are in the right place. They offer a fresh salad bar, grilled meat and best Pizza. The place is clean simple and lack the fine touch of the Italian good taste. One thing which I do not like is the behaviour of the owner, any... More

Lovely Italian restaurant! We were greeted by cheery waiters who found us a table as quickly as possible. Our waiter then advised us on the best pizza to order and helped us with the menu. Our pizza was fresh and delicious, the salad fresh and crisp and accompanied by the best prosecco we've ever drank. The best place to eat... More

This is a very popular Italian neighborhood restaurant. It seems to be always full. The service is good but not fast. It is recommended to make reservation.

Authentic, tasty food, whether it's pizza, pasta or fresh fish. Fairly small choice of main courses (apart from pizza) but it's all tasty & good. Very attentive service from native Italians.

If you are expecting a deep pan Pizza Hut (American style) pizza then you will be dissapointed because this is more of an authentic pizza with simple well chosen topings. I've read some surprising comments about the service. Everyone was lovely. The staff and owner was very welcoming when I tried to order in German (badly), and while I waited... More

Il Mare has definitely the best pizza in town. The place is not very modern or fancy, but authentic. The elderly owner still greets every guest personally and the pizza is to die for, for an average price btw 9-12€. Usually you don't even have to reserve a table, if you're more than 2 people I'd recommend it though. Also... More
