If you're looking for authentic Croatian seafood in Vienna you should go to Kulinarium 7. The restaurant looks really great, we were sitting in the basement, which still has the old brick walls and ceiling.

The food was amazing, from sides to main courses everything was phenomenal. The cook and owner was very kind, and came over personally to say hello and make us feel welcome. All in all a great dining experience which I would really recommend!

You have to visit this place and try their Brodet...and olive oil made by the owner's family. Fresh fish and oysters from Dalmatia...authentic but still with a contemporary twist

We were unbelievably lucky because our original choice of restaurant permitted smoking inside, so we couldn't bring ourselves to enter. Instead we happened upon Kulinarium 7 and were blessed that we did. The service was second to none and the food was fantastic; we had the amazing fish soup and the mushroom soup followed by a lamb crown and a... More

The host, after ascertaining our dislikes, served a multiple course meal that was so incredibly savory, and stunning presentation...don't miss this restaurant...an absolute original!

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE. We were encouraged to try the "surprise" meal: three courses, a Croatian chef's choice. OMG. The appetizer consisted of 8 different pieces - each a delight, then a pasta with mushroom sauce, then a sea bass with potatoes and red bell peppers. Dessert was a combo plate of chocolate cake, cheesecake and panna cotta. The... More

The food on offer here was heavenly. It is a fish restaurant, with a Mediterranean (Croatian) touch. The wines on offer were superb (don't try the after dinner drink though....). The fish was prepared in the oven with at least 4 sorts of fish cooked to perfection with potatoes and vegetables. very nice pasta and cold (some pickled) fish as... More

We had noted that there was a new fish restaurant across the street from the flat we renting, the Kulinarium 7, so we looked it up. The owner, Toni Bjelancic, started his career in NY at the Culinary Institute and then moved to Philadelphia, He had been working throughout Scandinavia and has now settled in Vienna, not far from his... The other reviews do not do justice to this restaurant. The owner and his wife are from the Dalmatian coast (near Dubrovnik) and run this restaurant as (what seems like a hobby). The real cooks are a young and dynamic married couple who are PROS. I ate the 5-course menu of the day, which seemed to include 4 variations of... More

Reviews looked great however as of Oct 3 when I checked their website, it shows they are closed. Too bad, maybe it's just closed for renovations or a chef holiday? Next time I come to town I will try again.
