Excellent Italian food; service was a bit slow even by Austrian standards. Consider ordering pizza if you want a quick meal.

Looking for Italian food in Margareten, Vienna? Look no further! Had a lovely dinner with family here. Good food, good wine. Nothing more, nothing less.

Found this place by accident. Staying in the Holiday Inn and it's a couple of minutes down the road. House beer is pleasant enough and wine list decent. Started with a lovely platter of prosciutto and parmigiana. Main courses were very tasty, but the pasta sauce was more spicy than expected. Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the bill was.

Have just returned from this restaurant. Firstly the 1 star is for the speed at which the food was served and nothing more. My husband ordered ravioli and requested that the sauce was not to be too spicy. Well he had to scrape all the sauce off before being able to eat it. There was no offer of bread or... More

Excellent antipasti selection followed by good pasta although my wife's didn't fulfil the menu promise of content. However, it was all very tasty and our very helpful waitress gave us free decaf (real) espressos. Desserts were very good too. Recommended if you're in the area, especially if you're staying at the Holiday Inn Vienna City as it's 3 minutes walk... More

Stopped in here for dinner last week and was pleasantly pleased. Service was a bit slow, but the food was wonderful. My husband has the lasagna and it was a large portion and well done. I had ravioli. It was good, but not overly filling. The tiramisu was delicious. Be aware that they do not take any credit cards but... More

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
