Great menu and well priced. All good was really tasty and very well presented. Could not say one bad thing about the food, we ate everything and left clean plates behind! NYUM! Our favorites: Mixed meat rice paper wraps were delicious as was the California roll. We really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere although service was slow. The lychee... More

Casual environment and prompt service. Four bowls of various noodles and four jasmine teas came to about EUR 47. If you're familiar with South-east Asian food, this shop's homemade noodles or "la mien" is like what we would consider "pan mee" or "mee hoon kueh". Not exactly the same but still rather nice. We would have returned to this shop... More

It was simply delicious and really nice service. Don't worry at the end you'll feel your stomach completely full (^___^) !

I found the staff great, service quick and everyone was smiling. Had green papaya salad which was excellent , fresh and spicy . Then some pho, which was light and tasty. Good value and chilled atmosphere. Not ramen but great none the less

I actually don't care how good or bad the food at the Ra'mien chain of Asian restaurants is. What I care sufficiently about to write this review is the gall at charging diners for simple tap water. Yes the stuff we taxpayers have already paid to come out of the taps. I'm all for paying for sparkling or still mineral... More

Searched it out, turned up late afternoon and felt invisible. Food great but a smile should not be an extra. The place was only half full so stress was no excuse.

When we went to ramien, we were expecting Japanese RAMEN. But nope, they are serving 刀削面, a chinese type of noodles. The noodles are so-so. The service is always horrid. We have visited 3 times and the service had always been bad. Only plus point is it is close to where we live.

We were away from Toronto for a week now and been craving some Asian cuisine on a relatively cool evening. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait long. Weekend menu had less selection but we ordered ramen as it is a noodle shop after all.. no gyoza thou on the weekend. Honestly we didn't have high expectations... More

Fast-food style place but with quite tasty food. I had the rice bowl with tofu and pak choi and was very happy with my meal. Service was quick and relatively friendly.

The perfect place to quench your desire for Asian food in Vienna. Very down to earth - it's near the technical university - hence very well priced too

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
