For years I try to find vegetarian and vegan dishes in restaurants. Here, in Vienna, I found a vegetarian and vegan Michelin restaurants! This was an awesome experience! Every dish was full of delicious tastes and textures. My husband, who isn't vegetarian, enjoyed it as much as I did. What a great meal! I highly recommend it. Tip: at lunch... More

We had the lunch a la cart menu, but shared it between two so got to try the whole menu. I had high expectations going to this restaurant, and they were exceeded. Every dish was exquisite with unusual and diverse ingredients that complimented each other perfectly. One of the highlights was the lentils, carrots and mushrooms. It seems simple, but... More

A very atmospheric place in the city center with outstanding food! Unusual combinations of ingredients, surprising tastes. Staff is attentive and knows all the dishes perfectly, matches it with wine. The prices are higher than medium but totally worth it!

We went to Tian to celebrate birthday of one of our friends. We were placed downstairs - the room was very pleasant, calm, comfortable. there is more space than than upstairs - check it out when you choose a table. Service was excellent - right speed, attention, attitude to understand the customer's taste and preferences. It was actually more taste... More

I'm not vegetarian by any means but loved this restaurant. I was excited because it's a Michelin star rated restaurant and very close to our hotel. The service was on point, the wine list was great and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that the meal had to end. Couldn't make it there for dinner but had the... More

Our eight course dinner at Tian was hands-down the best restaurant experience we have ever had, even though we are not vegetarians. All courses were extremely tasty and creative and it was a real pleasure trying to figure out the components of each dish. The atmosphere is very relaxed, staff is very attentive without being at all intrusive. We will... More

This is the only "vegetarian only" Michelin starred restaurant that I know, conveniently located in the "Himmel"pfortgasse. For the non German speakers amongst us, this translates into the "Heaven's gate street". And indeed when entering into Tian, you enter into a foodies' heaven. The composition of the plates would make a good standing in a modern art's galery. And the... More

The tasting menu, service and ambiance were divine. A memorable experience! The expense was well worth the evening and the memories I know have of TIAN.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
