People queuing outside, inside, once in not much space to move around, some of the stuff slightly drunk, smoke from the kitchen, heavy oily odour in the air.... I have visited this establishment several times and I will be definately coming back again and again. Why? It is not the size nor numerous variations of the schnitzels served, neither prompt(also... No matter when and how hungry you are, this restaurant is a joy for your palate. The whole family will enjoy this restaurant. Of course not only the schnitzels are great also all side orders. Do not forget the deserts.

Nice schnitzel, but definitely felt that it was an ' eat and get out' venue, felt totally rushed which tempered my appreciation for the food

We found this place on Tripadvisor and, seeing as I do love a schnitzel, thought it was well worth a visit. The result... I may never need to eat again! We both ordered a Cordon Bleu which is an immense schnitzel of ham, cheese and veal. We could quite easily have shared one between the two of us. We also... More

Dropped here by accident and realized we could not find anything more authentic. Large round tables to share - we were lucky to have dinner with an American family whose eldest son is living here. Huge meals, quick service, funny middle European atmosphere.

Extremely delicious traditional Austrian schnitzels served in enormous portions. These people definitely know how to prepare and serve food. The atmosphere is great, the service is excellent and the location is good.

Vast portions, very fresh, really good chips, crowded and incredibly good value, especially as any order provides food for at least 2. Not fine dining, not nouvelle cuisine, but keeps it simple and does it really well

If you are interested in an incredible selection of Schnitzels that are excellent in quality and quantity, this is the place! Every Schnitzel is prepared to order. The side dishes available are tasty and there is good beer (or wine) to wash it all down. It's great and should not be missed.

We decided we could not leave Vienna without eating professionally cooked Wiener Schnitzel! We read the reviews ranging from the most expensive restaurants to the cheapest (watch out for instance for the substitution of pork for veal) and finally chose the restaurant recommended in the "Free Map for Young Travellers, made by locals - Vien". By the way we recommend... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
