Nice view of Tromso. If the night is clear it is big chance to see the Aurora boreallis. Good for the budget spending, but bring a camera with bulb function to make great photos.

Our last visit was this tour and we went after 17, it was already dark but the light of the Tromso city is really beautiful, better to have a good camera to catch all the landscape. i recommend to do it although it is 170nok/pers!

To be honest, the only reason to go to this restaurant is for the view, which is magnificent - particularly at night. The menu was disappointing - burgers, burgers and more burgers (oh, and bacalao which I don't like very much). OK the burgers included reindeer burger with a cranberry dressing and cod burger with aioli, but it just wasn't... More

Unhelpful and unfriendly staff, incredibly lazy and condescending. For such expensive food you would expect better. Such a shame because it really is a beautiful place...

They advertise with good food and even nice table settings (and delicious food); however it's lousy burgers and other overpriced fare! The views are good, but cannot compensate for the bad service and experience. Come during the day and bring your own. At night, come for photo's, but again avoid the food.

The funicular or cable car to the top of the mountain (Mt. Storsteinen) on the mainland across from Tromso is a beautiful experience in clear weather. Easily reached by city bus, taxi or even walking from city center, the cable car runs about every 30 minutes up the mountain from 10 am to 10 pm. The round trip cost is... More

We went for supper and were pleased with the choices available. I chose a salmon salad and apple cake for desert. My son had pizza and we were both pleased. The staff were friendly and helpful and answered our questions and also the questions which another guest had about allergens. Very fairly priced with nice size portions. The only slightly... More

this is a awesome place to visit, take a flask of hot tea and if you have the motivation, walk up rather than pay the high price for a 4 minute cable car ride. the views are spectacular along the way and it feels like such an achievement once you reach the top!

I saw something was wrong when the "non-norwegian-speaking" very young girl start water order on an post-it note. It was 8 other people in the restaurant. They all had some burgers and soda, and got the food 5-6 minutes after we ordered fish soup and chicken salad. We waited for 35 minutes and then the food arrived. I found 2... More

Fantastic view - great uphill walk for 1 hour or you may use the cable car. It has a cafe and facilities.
