This is a lovely cafe/restaurant located in the courtyard of one of the oldest buildings in Oslo. It's a nice local scene, with lovely ambiance. It was raining when I was there, so I had to sit inside which was not bad. The food was...More

We went here for lunch on our first day in Oslo. Hungry and attracted by the decorative courtyard and the spirited facade, we decided to eat there. The menu featured some seafood options, but not much else. The hamburger I got (one of the few...More

Stopped in for an early dinner following a day exploring Oslo. Simple menu choices and all reasonably pried (by Norway standards). Service was great - fast, friendly and helped with menu choices. Food came out quickly and was good - mussels best pick of the...More

Happened upon this while exploring Oslo. Great food. The table has the mussels, fish soup and seafood pasta. All was great. The bread is fantastic and all of it gave us a good taste of Oslo food. Service was good. So glad we happened upon...More

We've visited this on a very crowded and sunny day. Even though you could see that there weren't enough waiters for that amount of guests, the service staff really gave there best to make us happy. The food was also very delicious and it's nice...More

I have visited here several times. The cafe is in a great old building and especially in the winter it is a very cozy place to go. That aside, the food needs a little bit of a lift. I had the fish soup with an...More

We only went for a few drinks - but were amazed by the poor service at this restaurant. For some reason a lot of the tables had signs on them telling guests they were unattended. Some places this means you may order at the counter,...More

Visiting Celsius with my Norwegian colleague even he was surprised by the lackluster service. Slow, inattentive, and uninterested. Even when three elderly Norwegian women sought her assistance, she had the appearance that they were too bothersome for her to help. So her service was a...More

Kafé Celsius in located in historical surroundings in the corner of the square Christiania torv. Among some of Oslo's oldest buildings, you find the charming café that can boast of having the oldest room in Oslo, from 1626. The café has a wide selection of lunch dishes and snacks, and some choices for dinner as well. You can also just enjoy a hot or cold drink. In the summer, Celsius has many tables outdoors in the square - a very popular place on nice summer days.
