As a French, I was both excited and sceptic about going there but I have to say Le Benjamin exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious (beef tartare for starter) and it reminded me so much of the food I used to have in France (especially the entrecôte!). The desert was excellent (quince compotte) and the wine selection was very... More

Good service, excellent French cuisine. Wine list with wide range of selected wines. We were very happy with courses, mine was confit de canard and duck breast. Cheeses at end were perfect. Highly recommended! KtJ

Great service, great food, makes me feel I am in France. The details in the meals makes it an even better experience. . Usually necessary to book a table.

The menu has few courses which is good. All were happy with their choices and the food tasted great.

We have eaten here four times over the last two years, for family gatherings of four to six adults. We go for the excellent food and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We have reserved a table, but I see they do their best to accomodate walk-ins. The food is what I think of as "modern French food" but not weird or... More

Informal and friendly atmosphere - like a local French bistro. We had not booked in advance but there were tables available and we were shown to the table by a friendly waitor. We had fried crap as a starter and cod as the main course, and both dishes were very well prepared. There is no doubt that this restaurant wants... More

Went there to celebrate a birthday with some friends from work. Pretty good food, but unlike the rest of our party I wanted my entrecôte medium rare and not medium. I got a very tough piece of meat.

This was my first time at Le Benjamin, and what a treat it was! Absolutely amazing food - and service! We were especially impressed with the waitress, she seemed to know everything you ever wanted to know about beer and wine to go with our food. Following her recommendations, we had what we all felt was a perfect meal experience.... More

Highly recommend reserving a table if you would like to eat here during the weekend. Lovely food with daily specials in fish and meat maincourses. Busy but nice waiting staff. We had the tartar which was super good and a jerusalem artichoke soup. Both lovely but will especially recommend the tartar. For mains we had turbot and dear. Both fantastic.... More
