Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had gone to see the City Hall. After coming out we were looking for some restaurant to have our lunch. This place is located just outside City Hall. We read Vegetarian Cafe, so we decided to try our luck here. We had no idea...at all that we are entering one of the best vegetarian restaurant in entire Europe. We had Indian Veg Curry with Roasted Cashew and Basmati Rice and Spinach Chickpea Curry. Both the dishes were were vey authentic and very delicious. No doubt one of the best food we ever had. They had so many other veg options also. Their cakes also looked very yummy. It's a small and self service place and they close by 6 PM. Heaven for vegetarians...More

Excellent lunch spot. Food was great. Very close to the centre, worth a visit. Spinach pie and salad was very nice and service was excellent.

Lovely vegetarian restaurant. Food very tasty and fulfilling. Norway prices, but reasonable. Friendly and clean. Go get some great grub.

If you want an unpretencious grab on the go and dont have much time, this is the place! Delicious plant based meals. Please note that the food feels and looks more like homemade rather than holding strictly to the menu. Everything will have a bit...of a European twist. But they are careful with loading you with protein and portions of their bowls are enormous. I get very full eating here and it is as if food was prepared by a friend of yours, which is a bit cute and cuddly. Absolutely yum. A perfect solution for a busy person who cannot spend long waiting at a restaurant. Some seating inside, plenty more outside.More

Interesting vegan menu, way too flirty Croatian employee which was quite disturbing, but otherwise ok dinner.

On our first morning in the city we made our way here for a grand breakfast. With soothing background Eastern music we chose from the enticing offerings. Quinoa salad, a wrap and almond cake, with a double cappuccino and coffee were tasty and satisfying. Friendly...helpful staff and the full ambiance made for a lovely interlude.More

This place felt very inviting right from the start. Then I found out all their cakes are made on premises and the soup, too. We had a wrap and a lentil soup. Both very delicious. I had a cacao in a takeaway cup and a...carrot cake, which was the best I’ve ever eaten. To summarise our experience - food made with love and care and the same approach they use with communication with their guests/customers. We felt very welcomed and well looked after. The girl working there was extremely nice and generous. Would definitely go back when in Oslo. Please, pay them a visit. They are located in a prime location and need your support to stay open and keep warming people’s hearts, souls and stomachs.More

We stopped here for coffee and cake and it was really lovely. I had the best raw chocolate "cheese"cake I've ever had, and the owner even ground up some decaf beans to make me a tasty decaf latte. It's so nice to go a place...that has lots of vegan options. I hope to go back to try the food too.More

Ordered an Acaii bowl (on the menu it was written as a smoothie bowl with açaí, banana, blueberry or raspberry topped with coco flakes, granola and fresh fruit) I informed that I was allergic to gluten and coconut and asked if they could skip the...topping. The woman in the registered just poured açaí pure from a carton into a cup and gave it to me? I paid 89kr for literally a plastic cup of pure store-bought açaí pure? No smoothie mixing or anything. Very very disappointed with the communication at this place, don’t go here.More

If you are looking for a small, friendly vegetarian cafe this is perfect. A very different experience to the ‘main stream’ restaurants in Oslo. The food is simple, delicious and home made. I don’t think you will find anything like it easily. We went three...times in 4 days and was the perfect ending to cold walks and trips around the city. Delicious curries, huge homemade fruit pies and many other options all at very competitive prices. Highly recommended.More

Their mung bean and spinach soup was very nice. So were the wraps. It is a vegetarian cafe, so you should clarify with the staff if you are vegan, since I got a butter along with a piece of very yummy bread that he put...on the side of my soup, which I found he charged a small change for. I would not touch it so it was a waste.More
