Many tastey options to choose from, lively area, nice to eat in when it's cold outside. Many different products for sale. We ate at vulkanfisk and were not disappointed. Many things were on the pricey side, but consistent with the general high cost in Norway.

It's amazing how many food choices you can find at Mathallen. From fish to pasta. The place is very clean and there is a lot of room to sit.

Many different choices of venues to eat, drink, or have a coffee with friends. I went to one of the seafood venues and ordered the Fish Burger. A delicious and thick fish patty made of fresh cod in a toasted bun with some slaw and mustard in it. My girlfriend had the shredded duck baguette which was also very tasty.... More

A high-end food court with different types of food, Norwegian specialties as well as foreign. Both prepared in a restaurant or as ingredients for your own kitchen. Middle area where you can sit together and eat different dishes of your choice. We had a good tapas lunch in a Spanish restaurant. Only few child seats available...

A great place to try a local (and beyond food). Various shops inside the hall, plenty of people. The withdraw is no ATM around, but it's possible to pay with international cards.

If you are a foodie and like specialty shops and interesting delicacies then this is the place for you. As a foreigner living in Norway, for the most part, the food selections are uninteresting and average. Not so at Mathallen! My husband and I picked up some wild boar dried sausage the last time we were here and loved it.... More

Made a beeline for this place..3 hungry people for Brunch. It really reminded me of the Food market in Kensington High Street. (Although unlike Kensington) Here; it has some great sit down eateries, we went for the divine shredded duck roll with salad..apparently soo popular we were a long time queuing for the tasty snack . Loved the atmosphere quite... More
