The food in this place is actually not to bad. They serve traditional Norwegian dishes for a good price. I had meat balls several times and its been nice, but during Cod season, I would definitively go for their fish dishes. Quite nice. This is a "brown" bar, not so big range of beer, but just enough to satisfy you... More

Having some days in Oslo when my brother suggested we had a bite to eat: As he is local he knew of a small restaurant in a small street near the famous Bislett stadion. It had a few tables on the pavement outside as well and as the sun was shining we sat down for a refreshing glass while studying... More

We ate there tonite. Both had salmon with roasted potatoes & pickled cucumber and house red wine. Blackberries with ice cream. All very good. 507 Kronor.

Extremely reasonably priced, open relatively late at night and consistent results from the kitchen makes this a keeper. Combine with friendly and prompt staff, decent ambience for the price and you have Sofies. Very down to earth and likable. Not the most swanky place in Oslo, but it delivers as you expect it to.

Her får man fantastisk god mat til veldig lav pris. Jeg valgte skrei og rogn selv om fisk ikke er min favoritt. Det var nydelig mat. Kjempeflott service. You will get fantastic good food at very low price. I choose cod and roe although fish is not my favorite. The taste was lovely!

My boyfriend brought me here so that I could try out Norwegian food. Unfortunately for they only offered their Christmas menu which had only 4 items on it so I didn't really get to try anything I've already had. We didn't have to wait long for the food but when it arrived it was lukewarm. The potatoes were very hot,... More

A typical "brown pub" that serves simple Norwegian food. The owner is always present and the service is good. Two choirs have their "after-rehearsal-pint" here, so expect some live choir performances on Mondays from 21-23.

Was there for a Xmas party, so not really tried the restaurant. nevertheless, the people there were nice and service minded. The restaurant is low key and not something you would go to for "fine dining". A "brown" place with average food.

This local restaurant is situated near Bislet stadium and serves very good meals at very good prices. I live just around the corner and my only problem with telling you about this hidden gem is that I could end up having problems finding a table for my self.

Thank oddemann
