Nice food, especially the pork neck, but a little slow service. Left before the dessert was served. Full restaurant and nice ambience.

An old farmacy facing quiet St Olavs plass off Pilestredet in Oslo. Next door neighbour to Scandic St Olavs plass hotel and next-next neighbour to Thon hotel Munch. Quiet, because we arrived at 3:30!pm, just at the end of the lunch menu. The place has a quaint bistro interior, and the menu is set on a mainly French note. Prices... More

If the wether is bearable, this is the best place to be outdoor in Oslo, good for lunar, dinner and just to have a drink under the trees. The food is superb, with ingredients that are excellent matched together. They have a selection of appetizers, among other "margbein" served with parsley and mustard. Also a fluffy "cream" of potatoes with... More

Had a dinner with colleagues, Tekehtopa's kitchen and wait staff delivered very well. Service was quick and with a smile, good selection of drinks and well-made food; the menu is not very large - but offers interesting choices. The location is off the tourist path (but only a short walk from the main street), and great for lunch as well.... More

We had fish of the day and it was delicious. Service was quick and nice, beer good and it was pleasant to sit on a sunny terrace.

I ordered an entrecôte medium rare. The meat I was given was grey and drowned in a salt mustard sauce. The green beans were undercooked and covered in the same yellow mess. The potatoes were salt as well - and reheated. Of course, I could have sent the plate back. I was hungry and didn't... An establishment with respect for... More

Had a dinner with a friend on a Monday evening. Went for the cod and a bottle of red Pinot Noir from New Zealand. An excellent combination, and deliciously prepared. Good service, but a bit expensive wines. Atmosphere relaxed, but not intimate. To big room with to close tables made you include your neighbours in the conversation. If you are... More
