Steak here is excellent, staff very friendly and inviting. Quite a wide range of steaks to choose from with various sauces and sides. Relaxed atmosphere right opposite the ferry in oso. Prices are quite high but you get what you pay for

The steaks were good, but nothing special for a well known steakhouse , on the other hand the service was quite poor for this price level ... had to walk to the bar and inform the waiters couple of times that we needed their help !!!

The meat is decent, but not great. The side orders are horrible. Frozen vegetables. A bearnaise made with poor oil and Glutamate (instead of parsley and tarragon).

Service was good and very friendly. Food (we took the "combo plate") was also very good but a bit to cold. The price was high but that's common in norway.

This review is for the Big Horn at Aker Brygge (though my assessment is similar for an earlier time I ate at the Moellergata branch). Went With friends. Ordered a medium sized rib-eye (you order steaks by size, and all sides are a la carte). It's easy to order too much here. Had trouble finishing the meal. The steak was... More

We went there as a family. The waitress was new i guess cause she forgot to serve lots of things. Service, drinks etc. she was a friendly young lady though. The food was ok but the price was way too high for that quality.

Food was nice, nothing to rave about or to complain about other than it was only Luke warm when it arrived. The service is almost non existent. The waitresses disappear for a long time - probably why the food wasn't hot when it arrived!

Had dinner with colleagues recently and the steaks were superb. Juicy and well seasoned straight from the grill. Side order also tasteful and the Big Horn potatoes a must have. Fair pricing, nice ambiance but the service was way below! Non interested, somewhat frustrated and food was almost thrown on the table. Let's give the person the benefit of the... More

My wife always drags me to these places. You´ll find them in several cities around Norway. They are all decent steakhouses, but don`t expect a taste bonanza or a culinary experience that will make your eyes roll. Good old fashion steak, cooked as you order with selection of potatoes and sauce. Nothing to worry about, but not much to get... More
