Great Resturant and excellent food. However the menu is limited. Fresh sea food and very delicious soup.

The restaurant was recommended by our accommodation receptionist for Norwegian food. We went there on Saturday and it was fully booked, so we went back again on Sunday. As it was Sunday, so some of the dishes were expected to run out. The menu was simple and the waiter was very friendly and attentive.

We were lucky to get sited without a prior reservation. The place was full in the evening. So first of all the guy at entrance desk just wonderful, talk to him, the person just on his place. We went by his advice and were more than pleased. The dishes are mostly contemporary Scandinavian sea food with very interested ingredients, like... More

Enjoyed a three course dinner here. Started with fish and shellfish soup garnished with basil, Norwegian trout with mushroom risotto, and finally the pannacotta served with passion fruit and lingon berry. Our waiter also recommended a good bottle of white wine.

All in all a great experience to eat here. It started a bit bumpy, with a little communication problem with the staff. But after that everything was very good. Great food, and good service. The bill was lower then I would expect at a place like this.

Been here a couple of times before and they always serves excellent seafood. This time we had preordered the Lutefisk for everybody. Those who had tried this weird traditional Norwegian dish before said this was some of the best they had tasted, but it's definitely not gonna be a favourite of mine. Specially prepared Cod means it's prepared in lut... More

Ok, I admit that it is expensive, but put that aside end enjoy the rest. I ordered a table for a business lunch in advance. We got the best table in the restaurant! That was a good start. We ordered today's lunch. Fish soup and fried cod for main dish. Both dishes was awesome. Accompanied with a glass of Côtes... More

A very nice seafood restaurant at the marina in Oslo. It has a wide range of offerings, but I selected the grilled whale since it is difficult to find outside of Norway. The service is quite good here. The food tends to be lightly seasoned but flavorful. A good experience overal.

Located in the Akke Brugge Marina area of Oslo, Lofoten Fiskerestaurant was excellent. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Our server was a very pleasant young man and did a great job. We ordered the Seafood Tower and split it and it was loaded with a variety of shell fish including a whole lobster and more than... Description
Lofoten is an elegant, yet cosy and relaxed seafood restaurant on the edge of Aker Brygge with an exquisite maritime menu, good beverages and excellent service. Lofoten pride themselves in serving the best fish and seafood the sea has to offer. The restaurant's philosophy is to serve rustic food that not only looks good, but also tempts the palate and satisfies one's hunger. The menu changes 7-8 times a year and reflects each season's specialities. January-March: Steamed cod with liver and roe, flown in from Lofoten! April-September: Summer menu, 200 seats outside with a great view of the Oslo Fjord. October-December: The Norwegian speciality lutefisk (cod treated with lye).
